Great stay in the middle of the forest, I woke up in birdsong. Peaceful, quiet, enjoying the nature. It was just perfect stay. Lovely staff, relatively good food, and great location. The pet friendly politics is also more than appreciated.

We had a wonderful weekend in this cozy house near Giethoorn. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming – we felt at home right away. The house was very clean, well maintained, and fully equipped – nothing was missing. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing, and there is convenient parking right in front of the house. It’s definitely highly recommended, and we would love to come back again

Location and staff! The team went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Before arrival, communication was excellent and due to flight delays took away our worries. The restaurant is a must do as well (make a reservation as highly popular) and the breakfast was great too. We were spoiled! Highly recommend a stay and a next time will stay a bit longer. The area has lots to offer.

The view from our room - the terrace was right next to the canal. It was so peaceful and quiet, it was exactly what we were looking for. The location is perfect, right next to the bus stop. Our waitress really made our dinner a great experience. He was very friendly and delivered an excellent service.

Natural environment~ Hotel was around with green trees, wild flowers and nice and fresh air, birds' singing woke me up in the sunshine morning, reception desk and breakfast room were both I enjoyed...bright and relaxing...Besides, I really appreciated the help from a young and tall lady (sorry I forgot her name).She was very nice, very patient and very helpful... she came to knocked at my door twice to make sure I could get a taxi arragment.. She deserved all the praised words for what she did...

We discovered this hotel in 2019 and every time we visit our family in Meppel we stay here. It is located in the middle of a wooded area and one might think that they’ve taken a wrong turn, but don’t worry, you’re on the right path. The restaurant is very good and offers typical European food as well as a few Dutch specialties. and the breakfast buffet is well stocked. There is even a small swimming pool where you can relax or get a few short laps in before bed or breakfast.
