Hotel Café Restaurant Abina, hotel in Amstelveen

Situated on a friendly street in Amstelveen, at Hotel Abina you can enjoy easy access to the bustling city centre with the peace and prettiness of the nearby Amsterdam Forest Just 15 minutes from bot...

I made a reservation because it was a little cheaper compared to the hotel in Amsterdam. But considering the transportation cost, it's not much different from the center of Amsterdam. And, the facilities are terrible. The staff is unfriendly, and the housekeeper is about to come in before the check-out. And the public restroom is like a regular bar restroom and it's dirty. And the first floor is an actual bar. But DJing at dawn. Can't sleep.

A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam.

A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Close to the airport so there is a little bit of noise from the planes, but it wasn't bad at all. We enjoyed staying there rather than the busyness of the city centre, and it was cost effective.

Use public transport where possible as its easy, clean, efficient and good value for money. Would recommend Villa Borghese and Gusto as nice restaurants for an evening out. Stadshart shopping centre has everything you need and with the Amstelveen bus station and tram stop next door you have easy bus or tram rides into the city.

Insanely quiet for a Saturday afternoon.

Insanely quiet for a Saturday afternoon. However the people in the pizza place were chatty and smiley none the less. Can imagine it's a lovely little place to visit in the summer when people venture outside to eat on the quaint little terraces. It is very pretty

There's not really much or anything to do in Amstelveen except going to Amsterdam. The roads are confusing to drive, they have a shopping center but is to confusing to walk around there. The park in the centre is sad and not inviting at all.

I had never been to Amstelveen, and it is actually quite nice. Nothing historic or anything, but it seems like a place that offers good quality of life to its citizens. Good selection of shops and restaurants. I would not mind living here, but I probably can't afford it.

The location was very quiet and just outside of the city in the business district. If you want a restaurant and something to do in the evening you would need to take a tram. However, frequent trams and the Metro made it very easy to travel into the city centre, even late at night. Trams arrived every few minutes. The studio XL was spacious enough for me and my two teenagers. The bathroom was huge for a small apartment. It had everything you needed for a week long stay and you were made to feel at home. The only thing missing was some outside space to sit in. The balcony was available but you could not take your own food or drinks up to it. The restaurant provided drinks and cocktails which you could pay for instead. We had a very enjoyable stay in Amsterdam and the quality accommodation helped.

Absolutely stunning hotel! Treated ourselves to the premium room a bit last minute and was not disappointed in the slightest, most of the staff went out there way and was exceptional, would 1 million percent return to the premium room bathroom was stunning everything about the hotel was superb, 15 minute walk to tram to take you into the heart of amsterdam tram takes about 20 minutes, great modes of transport taxi around just under 30 euro, breakfast was lovely had a lot of selection ery impressed with our stay

You will receive what has been written on the website - It was the first time we stayed in a camping hut. It reaches our expectation and requirement. For an expensive city like Amsterdam, I think, it is affordable and you stay in nature - this is also a plus point. Don't take a bus which direct from the hotel, just walk or go with a car to the tram station (approximately 1,4 km away from the hotel) - you can use Amsterdam ticket (9 Eur/ day - or 15 Eur/ 2days and so on) for transportation.

The Diamond Capsule Hotel Amsterdam South offers an affordable and modern capsule-style experience just outside central Amsterdam, in Amstelveen. It is popular with budget-conscious travelers and solo adventurers who appreciate its clean and compact design, private bathrooms, and basic amenities. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest tram, making access to the city center somewhat time-consuming.
