A truly wonderful hotel, everything was perfect. This was our second stay. The first time we booked directly with the hotel, and the second time through Booking.com. We enjoyed everything on both visits. Please note that all rooms are unique and the hotel consists of several buildings, but the quality is high for all of them. We stayed in three different rooms in total, all beautifully renovated with comfortable beds, quality linens, and well-equipped kitchens. We only used the kitchen on our second stay, and it had everything we needed. The reception staff are exceptional — friendly, helpful, and quick to solve any issues. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

The hotel is placed right in the center of Groningen and everything is so near. Also the room seemed very clean and it was exactly as expected. The decoration of the hotel and of the room was beautiful. If i ever go again to Groningen i would like to stay again there.

Leonardo Hotel was the best place to stay for our work trip. Their staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, their breakfast was good, but their lunch and dinner were amazing! It was our favorite restaurant in the city, and we did try a lot of them (I recommend the Thai Beef Salad). It is conveniently located in a quiet area and downtown is just 10 min away in bike, which I highly recommend to feel like a local! The staff was not only helpful, but they gave us tips to make our stay even better. I can't recommend this hotel enough the cost service ratio is insanely amazing, rooms were amazing, and we can't wait to be back next year!!

Hotel Halbert is situated in one the most beautiful streets in Groningen, in the middle of the historical centre.

Comfortable bed.

Comfortable bed. Downside breakfast poor, advised re allergies and fir gluten free for one of the party but unable to accommodate. In many a hotel when requested milk in our own drinking cup so that we can give our daughter her medication, we have never been charged for such but not here, charged more than a litre would have cost at the shop. They didn't even have any equipment to clean. Some of the butter was out of date, staff informed but not taken away. Had dessert but quite expensive for what we got. Disappointed Would avoid the hotel next time

Very clean and spacious room in the new part of the hotel, with a view over open farmland. We had dinner at the restaurant every night, and were very happy with the food. With your own transport, Groningen is very easy to access.

This was my second time at this hotel. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are big and spacious. This time, I was in a more modern room, which was a bit nicer than last time.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel, with a nice restaurant that closes late, very convenient. The rooms are nice with recently renovated bathrooms. Very recommended if you are in the area.
