NorwayThe location was fantastic with the red dunes in front of all property, the villas, the bar, the breakfast / dinner room. Driving to the property was great experience - came in the sundowner. The breakfast and evening buffet - high quality food. Fresh food, excellent barbacue, salads, and their home-made ice cream. Good service by people who worked at the property. Friendly bartenders. Extraordinary sundowner with the guide from Desert Grace - our guide was highly skilled on the animals, friendly and chill person.

When putting the name into GPS remember to put in Namib Naukloft Lodge. "Soft adventure camp" will lead you way way offroad.

GermanyThe campsite is pretty remote and has very clean showers and bathrooms. You can see a lot of wildlife around and the staff of the lodge was super friendly. We really loved the campsite and is surpassed our expectations. The lodge seemed also very nice but we didnt spend to much time there. We would defently return here and also recommend it!

The room was extremely comfortable and we would have loved...
The room was extremely comfortable and we would have loved to spend more time here. We booked the sunrise drive which was one of the highlights of our trip to Namibia. The sunrise went on forever and our guide was very informative. Surprisingly we were the only ones who chose the option that morning.
The only downside was the restaurant. While the food was OK we had to sit inside next to a large mobile air conditioner. One staff member would move it so it didn’t blow directly on us and another would move it back. It was so strong it kept blowing our plastic water bottle over. A bit more sensitivity would have been welcome.

We stayed in this location mainly to visit Sossusvlei which is further south. Solitaire itself is a charming but tiny settlement - only a few buildings and a petrol station, however it has an amazing cafe serving "the world's best apple pie" and it was! Solitaire is about a 20 minute drive from Soft Adventure Camp at the Namib Naukluft Lodge.

SOlitair mountain lodge is a beautiful lodge with an incredible setting. they have a beautiful pool and watering hole close by which brings animals in such as zebra and Gemsbok/Oryx. The rooms were comfortable and large and the space is neat and well maintained. friendly staff made it extra easy to check in. We definitelywould stay and extra night at this lodge.

Friendly staff that were not intrusive and quick to assist when called. Made our stay very comfortable. The rooms and beds were clean. Perfect stop for when visiting Sossusvlei or stopover for drive to Swakop.

Suitable for one or maybe two nights. There's a shop, petrol station, bakery and lots of parking as well as the hotel and restaurant. Nice outdoor areas and a camp site and the sunsets were great! Food and drinks are well priced at around 200NAD for a meal, 22NAD for a beer and 150NAD for a bottle of wine. Gifts in the shop are slightly more expensive than we saw elsewhere but not loads. Wooden bowls for 195NAD was the same as in the market in Windhoek. There is a reserve and they have 5 cheetahs who are cared for as they were taken in as cubs due to circumstances. Well cared for and seeminly content. Game drive to visit them was around 370NAD each.

We stayed at Agama Lodge for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. The luxury room was superb, aircon most wellcome, the food was good and the pool was a gift from heaven.
We enjoyed the delicious food. The staff was friendly, always available and very friendly. The sundowner drive was the highlight. We can only but highly recommend Agama Lodge to anyone travelling to Sossusvlei.

Solitaire roadhouse is in the tiny settlement of Solitaire that boasts garage facilities, fuel, a general store, a café/restaurant, and a bakery that has what is generally regarded as the best apple crumble in Namibia. The road house itself is beautifully set around a swimming pool and covered recreation area. The staff are exceptionally helpful and I would certainly stay here again. The location is quirky with a number of old cars sitting at the front and ancient road signs adorn the general store.

Really beautiful place, I love Solitaire. The farm is near to the town with a feeling of being miles away from civilization.
Tomas welcomes us with a big smile,refreshing cold towers and cold juices, he went beyond to make us feel like home!
Breakfast was above expectations and a really good coffee.
The bedroom is big and the shower is just what you need after 3 hours driving in the desert.

Camp Geko is a little treasure near Solitaire. It offers nice and cosy tented rooms in front of a spectacular view on the savannah. The room and bathroom were comfortable and tidy, We also had the 3 courses meal to do a braai/barbecue in our camp spot and the food was delicious! I highly recommend this camp!
