Hotel Jelai ticked all my boxes which does not happen often. It is conveniently located, parking was reasonably easy. The room itself was of comfortable size. I could put away all my travel items easily and there was ample space for a prayer mat. It was, of course clean, all the bathroom appliances were new and worked excellently, there was an abundance of power points to plug in our various appliances, and for my husband, they allow smoking since the room has a little outdoor balcony. Bonus, I wasn't even expecting it but they had breakfast included and in the evenings, there were stalls right outside the hotel which offered a variety of foods, so we didn't have to look elsewhere for dinner.
