Perfect location on the beach. Lots of seating options for you to enjoy the beach view from: hammocks, sun beds, tables and chairs. Rooms were nice and very clean (although the bed was quite hard and not much water pressure in shower - the outdoor, cold showers have great water pressure though).

Honestly, the staff at this hotel were super friendly and chill – made the whole stay feel easy and comfortable. What really surprised me though was the beach! I didn’t expect Tanjung Rhu to be that beautiful. The water was so clear and the beach was peaceful, almost felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Such a great spot!

Beautiful beach and mangroves.

Beautiful beach and mangroves. We did hte Mangrove ride and island hopping. Not easy to get around, its remote and on the northern most tip of the island, should have own vehicle. Not many restaurants around the area, only resorts.

Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.

Its a sleepy place, not a party zone like pantai cenang. Its a place to connect with nature and rest, just afew food places nearby, all of which are good, lovely spot for sunset watching. Perfect stay at eagle eye, romantic stay with my boyfriend. Very nice place to relax and spend time in nature.

THIS BEING MY THIRD TRIP TO TG RHU. THE PRIVACY AND QUIETNESS - BEST THING ABOUT THE RESORT. STAFF ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. TOOK THE FAMIY SUITE WHICH COULD ACCOMODATE THE 4 OF US COMFORTABLY. IF THERE IS ANYTHING, I FEEL THE ROOMS NEED A LITTLE REFURBISHMENT AS THEY LOOKED AGED.

This is Kedah boonies. Lovely, but... basic. The image above is of some outcrop rocks which, with islands, are visitable by tour boat. Bear in mind a lot of the area is anyway national protected forests. The views and beaches are lovely but sanitation makes swimming questionable. Maybe better up the 4* hotel end if the currents are favourable. Not a huge amount to do but that is part of the charm. Of course plenty of tour$ around if not seeking quiet. We got our wildlife fixes just walking from our hut along the beach SW or along the road to the town, which is admittedly single horse at best. But has its charm. A few street restaurants serving muslim/Thai food and prata. Plus a couple of stores. If Chinese, possibly with beer in the fridge. Car rental looks around 60M$ a day which is not bad, but caveat emptor. Or scooters, but caveat insurance disclaimers. The drivers there seem pretty chill though. Hard to see it as the best for teens, but kids may like it if there's a pool. Lots of wildlife, often noisy, everywhere. Monitor lizards, toucans...

It was a lovely quiet location. We booked a cottage that looked out directly on the beach. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff are welcoming and friendly. They have water filters around the hotel, which was a bonus, and there are a couple of shops at the end of the lane. There's a restaurant close by that's open afternoons and evenings.

Located 200mtrs off the Tanjung Rhu beach road. There are a few restaurants close by of which Dawan Thai Kitchen is the best value, with no added service charge. The guesthouse has a shared kitchen with fridge & cooking facilities, and a washing machine. It is good value for the price.

Room was really clean, spacious and had a nice balcony! Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Right near the beach and near a nice cafe and restaurant. Can easily get to Tanjung Rhu beach from there (you can hire scooters there for a reasonable price).
