It was more than the property - it was the overall experience that was amazing! The conservation focussed owner and has family went above and beyond expectations to ensure everyone was happy! They even organised private transportation for us to get there from Sandakan (cheaper then grab) and then personally drove us to Lahad Duta and got us mini bus transport to Tawau. The tours were great and only included their guests. We got to see so much - including Elephants up close. We chose all meals included and the price was a third of the prices I’d seen advertised as package deals. Whatever you need - just ask them!

Very good location, comfortable bed and clean room with private bathroom. Nearby restaurant serves good meals, you can buy water and cola. River cruises are good, but... The morning one is too late in my opinion, it should start at 4 or 5 am. Definitely take the night cruise.

If you want to spend an adventure in the wild nature, you should visit this palce. Accommondation is quite nice, clean. Food was incredible!🤩 The resort is also clean, situated near the river. We absolved 2 cruises - night and morning and it was absolutely amazing! We saw the big 5 of Borneo thanks to our guide. 🐊🐘

The rooms are ok, but really in the middle of the jungle and just in front of the river The best part about the place is Lynda, she is like a living documentary she just wanted to show us all the animals in there and we saw them, Rhyno hornbill, elephants, crocodile and basically all the kind of monkeys we could see, just an amazing experience with her being the best guide possible The food was really good too and also the experiences out of the normal package I really recommend the night cruise, is something amazing being in that river in a small boat at night Loved it! The 2 nights, 3 days I stayed here were some of the best days of my life! Absolutely incredible - we went for the nature and were not disappointed - we saw the Borneo Big 5 plus TONS more. Our guide Ryan was the best - his eagle eye and determination meant we were able to see all this. The staff were super friendly and catered for my vegan diet, accommodation is very basic but this is perfect for a few days off the grid, rooms were clean and comfy we even had a large Gecko for company :)

This is such an amazing place. The location is amazing surrounded by the jungle and the river. The staff was extremely thoughtful. Their coffee was good. The food was probably the best I have had during my whole Borneo trip. The cruises are great. Saw many wildlife including a wild Orangutan.. So amazing to be there. It has a cosy and homely vibe to it. I would definitely come back if I get the chance.

Me and my husband visited the Kinabatangan river as part of our honeymoon journey and it was one of the best experience of our stay! The accomodation is located perfectly on the river side, everyone was really nice and welcoming and was working tireless all the time so guests could have a memorable time. We even got a surprise room decoration for our honeymoon :)
