Property was newly renovated so we had a beautiful new room to ourselves . Bed was comfortable, views were absolutely gorgeous. We even saw a turtle right in front of our room. The owners were absolutely amazing; very accommodating, helped us with everything from booking tours to transport. Food was delicious, and they even helped us haggle for fresh seafood

Many interesting macros around (can't forget about the pygmy seahorse!) I heard they saw Orcas last time...Need to be lucky for that Everything here was well organised, will stay again!

Wonderful, new property. Everything in great condition, attentive staff and amazing service. Great meals everyday, and the staff were always friendly and helpful with good advice. Mohammad Alrad was an fabulous and courteous host, always assisting with our queries and helping with travel guidance. An asset to Bubblefish. this resort is more than I expected. This resort is definitely a 5 start resort. The room is spacious , comfortable and clean. The food is delicious and I love the fried plantains. The service is more than 5 star. All the staffs and the owner always try their best to help with anything we need. highly recommend.

We loved the crystal clear water surrounding the water house. We enjoyed the snorkeling trip, to be able to see corals, fish, turtle and sea snakes. Yet, very peaceful sunset. And very authentic people. Kareoke in the evenings is a must!! Prepare few good songs before visit!

A Hidden Gem in Semporna!" The Firefly Resort is a paradise above the sea! The breathtaking restaurant set up with high roof and wood designed tables, chairs and bars, and impeccable service make it an unforgettable experience. I loved the eco-friendly approach and the dedication to preserving the local forest life as I could see squirrels jumping outside my room during my walk to and back my room.. and could a some fireflies at the darkest areas of the pathway. New Year's Eve (NYE) night part was exciting and fun with a live band where you can ask for your favourite songs, a spectacular light show , decorations for NYE . Food was incredible with free flow tiger prawns, roast lamb, grill beef, clams ,crabs , butter chicken, and more .. drinks were free flow beer and Sarawak beer whee I can't get anywhere in Semporna. Fireworks were so long for 1hour in total of 6 sets of fireworks. Tons of people. Bedrooms were clean and the mattress was of highest quality that I can sleep immediately like in Hilton . Staff were so helpful, people there were so friendly. Can't wait to come back!

The balcony is the best part for a diver with their wet equipments, and it's the crucial reason why I chose here. It took a night and my equipment all dry. The free shuttle between the jety and the hotel is convenient, and the only thing I have to do is to make a single call telling where I am. Though the hallway is full of durian smell from other guests, the room still smell free from it. The room has sufficient international sockets, good.
