Angah and the team did a great job making me feel welcome here. 3 diving trips a day, tasty home cooked food and a very comfy hammock. Would come back.

The Double with Seaview is properly the best for privacy and separation from the main decks. The people - Tone, Helene, Joy, June and Ping. Amazing good people who made the trip more personal. Thank you, I will always remember you. Lots of turtles around lodge at night. Broken shower water heater was replaced quick smart when issue was encountered. Three meals a day included - Malaysian style home cooking, plus they are open to cook catch from passing fishermen who visit - for a fee. Healthy snorkelling coral sites with lots of fish and turtles.

A Hidden Gem in Semporna!" The Firefly Resort is a paradise above the sea! The breathtaking restaurant set up with high roof and wood designed tables, chairs and bars, and impeccable service make it an unforgettable experience. I loved the eco-friendly approach and the dedication to preserving the local forest life as I could see squirrels jumping outside my room during my walk to and back my room.. and could a some fireflies at the darkest areas of the pathway. New Year's Eve (NYE) night part was exciting and fun with a live band where you can ask for your favourite songs, a spectacular light show , decorations for NYE . Food was incredible with free flow tiger prawns, roast lamb, grill beef, clams ,crabs , butter chicken, and more .. drinks were free flow beer and Sarawak beer whee I can't get anywhere in Semporna. Fireworks were so long for 1hour in total of 6 sets of fireworks. Tons of people. Bedrooms were clean and the mattress was of highest quality that I can sleep immediately like in Hilton . Staff were so helpful, people there were so friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Chia and the team are awesome! Super friendly and helpful. Timba Garden is simply the best place to stay. The rooms are big, clean, powerful shower, extra comfy bed and air-con. Water, Tea and coffee too!! Whenever you need to go into town or get picked up they sort it immediately. Yeah Timba is a little bit outside Semporna- but Semporna town centre is not great, not great at all. Timba also has beautiful gardens, hammocks, superb WiFi everywhere. Not only is there a varied free breakfast, the team at Timba can also organise all your tour requirements from PADI scuba trips to snorkeling and Island hopping. Then... if you don't fancy going into town for dinner you can dine at Timba!! I have travelled all over the country and Timba was the best. Brilliant place. Thank you.

Great apartments in U shape position, with nice surrounding garden and pool in the middle. Located 3km outside busy and noisy Semporna, so it was great decision about location and staying outside of the city. They provide mini van charter to/from the city (fixed morning times - matching daily island trips departures, but stuff was always willing to help on outside hours if someone needed transportation). You can use Grab (8-10RM one way) if you need to go to the city on your own. Rooms were big and clean, big and comfortable beds, provided with AC, towels, tea, water every day, a lot of space for storage. Staff was very friendly and always available, english is also well spoken. Breakfast is included, more Asian than continental type but eggs, toast, jam, fruit was always available (they were willing to prepare something extra if we would have requested - we didn’t). There is also a common area to hang out in the evening, some guests ordered in dinners (or were even aloud to use kitchen facilities), soft drinks, beer, ice cream available from the bar.
