Honestly, this place well worths a visit, it will but surprise you. We were atracted by the pictures on Booking, but when there, we got astonished by the place. The place is brand new, opened just over a year ago, and so you notice because everything is new, modern, with an attention to detail to be pointed out, the arabic atmosphere merged with the tropical environment of Tulum stands this place up to one of the beautiest I've ever been. We arrived quite late at night, but we were so impressed with the place that we couldn't but discover the place, quietly obviously, we don't wanted to bother noone, nor the turtles that were on breeding season (incredible experience as well). During our walk through, we meet Julian, the person in charge at night how was willing to show us the place around and sharing some comments about its construction, surroundings and everything, it was so kind from him. The room was beautiful, clean, with lots of space, a spatious bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, a small terrace with a small private swimming pool, comfortble beds, every facilitie you may need, and all with so much detail and care for excellence. To show the detail of the place, every rug on the place is perfumed to obtain a caractewristic aroma for the place, gel, shampoo, lotion are from Rituals, by the entrance, every room has a small sort of fountain, so you can remove the sand from your feet before entering the room. They have three main areas to eat and drink, one next to reception room, an open space bar/restaurant just by the garden, a second one on a rooftop in front of the sea, coming with a swimming pool to chill, and las but not less important, the area placed just into the beach, Marvellous place, quiet, calm and relaxed to enojy the sound of the sea, or even walk into the sea, as you have direct access. Bear in mind that if you are an early bird, you could catch up some amazing pictures of the sunset by the ocean.

We had an awesome stay there for our honeymoon. Hotel is clean, and very beautiful in the middle of the forest! Great for relaxing and disconnecting. The highlight is the service: Arturo, Jorge, and all other employees are VERY responsive and super kind, they should be very well rewarded for their exceptional work! Food is insanely good, 10/10. The entire hotel and the ground are fantastic. If you are looking for a peaceful location in nature and you don't care about being at the seafront, this is a perfect choice. Everything is designed with huge attention to detail but at the same time blends with the nature around it. There are lakes, pools and cenotes on site, the complimentary activities are great, despite quite a large number of guests the entire space feels very private. All staff are attentive and very professional, the food is lovely, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

Bardo is… unique… When arriving at night, at the front desk, we could already feel that the atmosphere was different then other places we’ve been too. At the very first step you make your way to your room, you know that you are on a journey. When passing by the pool with all those trees, plants, lights, and decorations it gets clearer why you came here. You can feel the balance and respect that has been put in between the style of the infrastructures and the nature that is surrounding it, making it a place of harmony. Once we’ve arrived at the end of the path to our room, we could only be amazed by the simplicity, authenticity and taste of decoration. We were about to live in connection with Mother Nature. The transformation starts here. Not only the hotel made us feel reconnected to nature but the themazcal made us reconnect to our true selves and we felt more alive. It’s an incredible experience that I recommend to anyone who meditates and is looking for a higher self awareness and spiritual connection. Also the staff made us feel welcomed and took great care of us at anytime and any moment! Very nice place! Clean Rooms, Lots of space, Big balcony and a fridge. A bit outside of tulum Center but very Quit and a Lot of Restaurants in Walking distance. But the main reason to Rate this Hotel 10/10 is the Staff! These guys are the nicest and sweetes people on earth 🙂 really amazing, special thanks Go out to Allan!

The owner, Rafa, is very helpful and takes time to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. He gave us loads of good tips and helped us with booking Taxis etc. We felt very well looked after. The hotel itself has a beautiful inner area with a pool and loads of plants. We couldn't hear any noise at night.
