Honestly, this place well worths a visit, it will but surprise you. We were atracted by the pictures on Booking, but when there, we got astonished by the place. The place is brand new, opened just over a year ago, and so you notice because everything is new, modern, with an attention to detail to be pointed out, the arabic atmosphere merged with the tropical environment of Tulum stands this place up to one of the beautiest I've ever been. We arrived quite late at night, but we were so impressed with the place that we couldn't but discover the place, quietly obviously, we don't wanted to bother noone, nor the turtles that were on breeding season (incredible experience as well). During our walk through, we meet Julian, the person in charge at night how was willing to show us the place around and sharing some comments about its construction, surroundings and everything, it was so kind from him. The room was beautiful, clean, with lots of space, a spatious bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, a small terrace with a small private swimming pool, comfortble beds, every facilitie you may need, and all with so much detail and care for excellence. To show the detail of the place, every rug on the place is perfumed to obtain a caractewristic aroma for the place, gel, shampoo, lotion are from Rituals, by the entrance, every room has a small sort of fountain, so you can remove the sand from your feet before entering the room. They have three main areas to eat and drink, one next to reception room, an open space bar/restaurant just by the garden, a second one on a rooftop in front of the sea, coming with a swimming pool to chill, and las but not less important, the area placed just into the beach, Marvellous place, quiet, calm and relaxed to enojy the sound of the sea, or even walk into the sea, as you have direct access. Bear in mind that if you are an early bird, you could catch up some amazing pictures of the sunset by the ocean.

Amazing paradise in the jungle. Very stylish rooms with private indoor pool and little details aimed at making your stay romantic. Great food at the local restaurant. Absolutely amazing pool - the largest (longest) we have ever seen. Very professional staff - we felt being taken personal care of all the time. Special thanks for late checkout. Separate special thanks to Leo, who is a master-waiter, and to everyone at the reception desk - we really enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the Milam to anyone visiting Tulum.

A true little slice of paradise in the middle of the jungle! The hotel is perfectly located to explore the most beautiful cenotes in the area (some are even accessible on foot or by bike, which the hotel kindly provides). The room is super cozy and peaceful — waking up to the sound of birds in the morning is just magical. The two pools are stunning, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff and concierge service? Absolutely amazing! Friendly, helpful, and always making sure everything is perfect. We were lucky enough to celebrate a very special moment there, and they welcomed us with such kindness and made it possible in this incredible setting. Could not recommend this place enough for a truly one of a kind experience. The grounds of the hotel are magnificent with stunning waters and amenities. The best thing about the hacienda is the little touches, water and coffee left all around the property as well as towels and even suncream. Paddle boards and kayaks available for anyone to use. Breakfast is fantastic and cooked fresh to order. Lunch and dinner fantastic also, the chefs cook excellent food. Gonzalo, the activities coordinator deserves a separate review entirely so we can fit all the positives in. His cave and bike tours are a must do for any guests staying, he is so enthusiastic and passionate about the area which made the activities even more enjoyable. Side note: some reviews complain about cost of taxis which is correct for the entire area, hence why myself and my husband chose to make use of the collectivos which are the local buses which run consistently from directly outside the property straight to tulum and to playa del carmen. They cost only 25 pesos for a journey per person and we never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for one to pass by.

The tranquility and friendliness of this place is like no other! It's a little oasis in Tulum that you can call home. I enjoy every minute of my stay here, would love to go back! The team who runs it is amazing, they served great coffee and breakfast, always helpful and accommodating. They offer free bike and fresh water. The public areas are very comfortable, the pool is nice, so you can easily spend a morning/afternoon here. The location is a block away from the main street and you can reach everything easily.
