Beautiful house. It feels like a luxurious home stay, you are treated like a guest of a family. The property is like a very exquisite holiday house that has been converted into a hotel with 9 rooms. The pool was lovely, the decor is tastefully selected and the staff are super helpful. The nearby beach is one of the best we went to in the area.

Excellent hotel! We loved everything about it, it’s always clean, they always have someone available at the front desk 24/7, extremely safe and organized, all staff are super kind, and the rooms are spacious and are even equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge in case you want to store some restaurant leftovers! Not to mention the location could not be more perfect, the centro and Chahue beach are both walking distance and it’s right behind Chedraui in case you want some groceries or need a quick cheap snack.

The staff were sooo good- Tania, Thomas, Sylvia, Armondo - just to name a few! The food was very good - even after 3 weeks we were very happy with the menu. The view, the pool and the beach were all great!

Santa Cruz has a nice Marina where you can book a fishing or Whale / Dolphin watching trip as well as a small swimming beach where you can spend the day. There are nice hotels, small shops several good restaurants nearby. You can also walk to nearby "La Crucecita" though the connecting corridor or take a taxi for about $5 USD to the downtown area nearby with a greater selection of restaurants and stores where you can by most anything you may want or need.

Santa Cruz has a laid back feel to it.

Santa Cruz has a laid back feel to it. There are some talented musicians and singers in the placita near Cafe Huatulco. Great coffee at Casa del Cafe and good breakfasts at Nico's Express Cafe. Santa Cruz Beach is relaxing and great for pelican and manta ray watching.

It is a place that we had never visited before.

It is a place that we had never visited before. We like the closeness to shopping and restraunts as 2 of us had mobility issues. People were very friendly. Taxi service available close by. Entertainment in the park 2 blocks away. Very clean city.

Make sure you find out which beaches are swimable before you...

Make sure you find out which beaches are swimable before you go, and if you go snorkling go with a guide. The currents can be strong - and some dangerous- so a guide will help avoid that and provide support. Public bathrooms have no toilet seats, sometimes there is no toilet paper, and sometimes the only way to flush is with water. The people are friendly and helpful and wonderful. Most do not speak English but you’ll make friends everywhere you go. The seafood is outrageously good. Eat as much seafood as you can. I didn’t go into town so I can’t speak to that. I loved it.

It is very very hot in May, I'm sure its more comfortable in December. The Zocalo area has many restaraunts and shops around it that are quite nice. The people are all very friendly and no pushy salespeople.

It's a clean well laid out city.

It's a clean well laid out city. Personally, though we liked it it was too Americanized for us for long term. We enjoyed Mazunte prior to arriving so that was more authentic and hip and to our style.

Both my partner and I not only enjoyed our 26 days there but became friends with the staff. Everyone e was very friendly, super helpful, multi talented with every aspect of the hotel. You didn't have to wait for anyone particular to help. They arranged for car rentals. Our heart felt thanks to the entire staff especially Vanessa, Paulina, Cesar, Ludo, Francesco, Mario and of course Donald Pinkney the General Manager for a wonder stay at a fantastic Adults only hotel with a exceptional & professional staff.

Lovely Hotel just near the Bocana beach. From most rooms you can see the sea and hear it as well which we liked. Nicely designed and furnished we also enjoyed the swimming pool. Our room was well equipped, spacious and comfortable in every way. Next time we will stay longer. We had a car and that made it very easy to go around and to go in town. The restaurant looks and feels very nice, we enjoyed a nice drink in the afternoon there and the staff all over the hotel was great and helpful.
