Laura and Ulises (and Chula, their dog) were amazing hosts, super accommodating and were very helpful when we had travel difficulties from Oaxaca. They have great contacts for experiences in the area, we recommend surfing! The hotel was beautiful, very clean and we loved the ‘guest house’ vibe and laid back nature. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas available for use which was really helpful in the heat. The location was great, near lots of restaurants and bars and just a short taxi ride to swimmable beaches. The pool and view of the beach and sunsets made for a perfect stay.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Fernando our host was a fantastic communicator. The location was incredible. In the middle of la Punta and zicatela so nothing felt to far to walk but was away from the noise. Our rooms were new, always clean and the staff were so helpful with any requests

Raiz is a beautiful hotel, and felt like a wonderful retreat in a great area of Puerto Escondido. The welcome cocktail on arrival was great, as were the daily breakfasts. The staff really looked after us especially when my partner was ill and needed somewhere to stay temporarily post checkout, which we hugely appreciated.
