Located in the beautiful mountains of Michoacán, filled with big pine trees, cedars and many hotsprings. (so many, the region uses thermal electricity). Many birds and cooler weather at this higher elevation. Thermal mud, steam and rinse were fun and healing. Good size cabins, and an excellent group of young staff members to help out. The restaurant had a small menu of delicious food! Try the trout! Very relaxing and quiet retreat.

Good quiet location away from the noise of the main road. We are cycle touring so the secure place to store our bikes was appreciated. It’s a nice guesthouse and we didn’t see any other guests so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The kitchen was well equipped and the DIY breakfast worked well for us and meant we didn’t need to be anywhere at a specific time.
