clean, quiet, modern facilities, excellent breakfast choices. only 1,020 paces from the airport. ( yes I did count them) but I didn’t hear the planes. ten minute walk to the marina and all the restaurants there. bus stop across the road to the Malecón and old Vallarta.

What a great hotel! The hotel has a fantastic staff and an awesome rooftop garden with beautiful pools and a hot tub. The bar and restaurant have great cocktails and food at reasonable prices. The public beach entrance is 1km away. Head right from the hotel and turn left on the second roundabout.

I stayed here for just one night last year, and loved it so much that I came back this year for 4 nights. My favourite part is how calm and peaceful it is - I was here to work on some writing, and it was really quiet and tranquil. My apartment was huge and had everything I needed - kitchen, huge TV, lovely balcony, very comfortable bed. The pool is huge which is great if you love to swim, and the gardens are just beautiful - I really enjoyed watching the birds and lizards and hummingbirds. The food is also excellent (the shrimp quesadillas are out of this world), which is lucky because there isn't really anywhere good to eat nearby that isn't an expensive tourist trap - just eat here if you can! Staff are really friendly too. It really is an escape - it's in a very quiet neighbourhood and you won't want to leave!

The breakfasts were always delicious with a wide variety of taste selections. Location of the restaurant is very accessible. The staff is excellent. The festivities they arranged for Superbowl Sunday and Valentines Day were wonderful. The service around the pool was superb. Already looking forward to going back next year. Also the concierge named Luis was extremely helpful with booking a snorkel trip and helping us out when my friend left his cell phone in a cab. We did get the phone back.

Jose Luis the bartender at the pool was probably the best bar tender we have ever been served by. Very knowledgeable, respectful and courteous. He truly made the stay worth it, he would go into detail about the drinks he was making and make delicious cocktails. He would be the reason I go back.

The Hacienda Adults Only pools were quiet and lush. We liked the bigger one and swim up bar. There are lots of pool lounger chairs and umbrellas. All the staff gave top-notch service. Food quality was really good at all the a la carte restaurants and buffets. French was our favorite. We loved the lamb chops in red wine reduction. The Asian and Mexican theme nights at the main buffet were done well. There were both inside and outside seating there. The rooftop bar above the Mexican Restaurant was our favorite pub but wasn't open some nights.. There is also a rooftop sushi day bar overlooking the ocean with an infinity pool that had the best view of the bay. The nightly entertainment shows were all excellent. There was an acrobatic show above the pool with a fire show, traditional Mexican dancing, a Michael Jackson show, and an outside carnival style games night. The room was large and well appointed, with a large fan above bed with a wall switch and quiet air conditioning. Big tv, a safe, a stocked mini bar, table and chairs, and a reading lounger chair. Great shower area and tub. Nice balcony with big chairs.. We tipped housekeeping daily and had excellent service.This hotel really aims to please. We were impressed and will probably stay again.

The apartments (2 bedrooms) were very clean, with excellent housekeeping staff that do a thorough job. All staff here are very friendly. Towels can be changed often if you'd like. The shower always has hot water with sufficient pressure. Stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and toaster were all in working order. The buildings have been upgraded to 5G with very good internet; TV offers programs & movies in both English & Spanish. The pool area is delightful, offering both sunny and shaded areas with plenty of loungers. The pool is heated, which is a bonus as many pools in the city are not heated. The security is visible 24 hours a day. We felt very safe and secure. The location is very good, with a 10 minute walk to bigger grocery stores, a 12 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to fruit and convenience items store, an Oxxo is one block away, downtown is a 30 minute walk or a 10 pesos bus ride, or a 100 pesos taxi ride. This location is in Versalles district, across the highway from the hotel district, and has numerous eateries and cafes in the area, so many that we've more+ to explore after one month's stay. Expect to walk on some cobblestone streets in the area, but that is authentically Mexico.
