Our stay at La Solara Villa in Ukulhas was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff at the jetty and personally escorted to the villa, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied throughout our stay, always checking in to make sure all of our needs and expectations were met. Whether it was organizing excursions or accommodating our dining requests, they handled everything seamlessly and with such kindness. Even though we only stayed for two nights, we were absolutely blown away by the level of hospitality and the overall experience. We truly wish we could have extended our stay, and we're already planning to return. La Solara Villa comes highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Ukulhas. Can't wait to come back!

Our stay at Tropico Villa was awesome! Surrounded by lush greenery plants, this hotel felt like a hidden paradise. The villa was beautifully designed, the room is spacious and clean. The equipments are new. Shimbe was warm, attentive, and talkative. We went on a trip, which was amazing. We enjoyed breakfast on the private yard.

Since they didn't provide the room I booked, they offered us dinner on the beach and swimming with manta rays. It was the best deal ever! :) We did even check in earlier and check out later, which was very useful. The staff was very nice.

My recent week-long stay here felt nothing short of a dream, thanks to the extraordinary hospitality of Shifaz and his incredible team. From the moment I booked my stay, I was treated with genuine care and attention, beginning with the seamless organization of my speedboat transfer and culminating in a warm, personalized meet and greet upon arrival that made me feel like part of the family. I was blessed to stay in villa 105—an incredibly spacious haven featuring a queen-size bed and a single bed. Each night promised restful slumber, allowing me to wake up rejuvenated and eager to start my day. Every morning, a delightful breakfast awaited me on the balcony, always served at my requested time. For a true taste of Maldivian culture, I recommend indulging in the local Maldivian breakfasts. They are a delightful and refreshing way to kickstart your day with nourishing ingredients. The villa itself was immaculate, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful local flowers, making every view a treat. Ganduvaru Villa also felt like a home away from home, offering safety, comfort, and exceptional service. Daily, I was asked if I needed any housekeeping services or fresh towels, and having my laundry washed and ironed added to the convenience of the stay. Just a one-minute walk away, the bikini beaches provided a perfect escape to enjoy the sun and sea. A unique highlight of my stay was the bathroom lighting—a feature that unexpectedly captivated me. With three settings—white, yellow, and my favorite, blue—the lighting transformed the room into a calming oasis. The blue light in particular created a serene ambiance perfect for unwinding or, as I found, having a spontaneous blue-light disco.

Definitely the staff comes at first. I would like to mention the hospitality of the manager, Sarka and always helping, Yunus from the team. We were very pleased to stay here with our family. The facility is new and the room was always clean. Suitable for big families. Location of the hotel is near the bikini beach. If you are looking for a local island and quiet holiday with your family, Ukulhas island and La Palma hotel can be one of the best choice. Thanks to all the staff again.

For me the rating is 11/10. The bonus 1 point deserves Abdullah, who elevates the stay not only on the island, but also in the accommodation itself to an experience. He is a very pleasant and insightful person who gave us an insight into the island itself, the life on it, the conditions and the country and showed us what customer service and a pro-customer approach should look like. He became one of us and not "just" a host. The feeling in the accommodation is like staying in a private resort that is yours and yours alone, thanks to the few accommodation units. Pleasant accommodation with an excellent range of food seasoned so that you miss nothing at all, while being in absolute privacy with a touch of the beach a stone's throw away. From the first moment we loved everything this place and host has to offer and has my absolute recommendation for great accommodation on Ukulhas Island.

Ukulhas has a wonderful house reef next to Bikini beach which is beautiful and plenty of places to sit in the beach in the sun or shade all day. Great access to snorkeling and other water excursions. Other than that, not much to the island. Walked around the whole island and really sad to see how unkept the public areas are. Other than bikini beach and house reef, not much to do.

It’s a nice local island.

It’s a nice local island. It’s clearly very popular, as there are at least four new hotels currently under construction. In the future, the place may lose its local atmosphere and become very touristy. The grocery shops offer only a limited selection of goods, not like what we’re used to in Europe.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I...

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

Local island only 80 minutes with speed boat from Male and you can experience local life but also get the relaxed beach feeling. The food was not so expensive, we tried a Thai Restaurant nearby and it was delicious. In Ukulhas you can get beautiful beach with corals and amazing sea life. Excursions was way cheaper than in the resort offer. We had private excursion for manta ray, nurse shark feeding, and coral garden with Ocean Excursions Ukulhas with a very good deal price.

A very nice inhabited island.

A very nice inhabited island. We stayed in a hotel front of the bikini beach, on the tip of the island. Staying in the city or opposite site of the island likely not so good. Nice diving! even the close reef in front of the harbor (by boat) - was very nice. Many new hotels under construction unfortunately - so hurry up!

One of the best guest house I've ever been to! Adbulla is an amazing host and with Raji, Musko, the Captain (and other staff) gave a perfect experience of the authentic Maldives. We suggest to follow their tips in order to avoid bad experiences and get only stunning excursions! At the end of our journey we miss them so much! We will return back soon!!
