Our experience at Swarn was exceptional. The staff greeted us warmly at the jetty, making us feel immediately welcome. The check-in process was seamless, and the team had already taken our lunch order while we were still at Dharavandhoo jetty—service you don’t often find even in luxury hotels. Our personal host was incredibly attentive, staying in touch via WhatsApp throughout our stay. The ocean views from our room and bathroom were truly the highlight, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. The rooms were well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and both the service and cleanliness were top-notch. The food was plentiful and impressive for a local island in the Maldives. Kamadhoo, located in BAA Atoll, is an underrated island that truly is a hidden gem. The beaches are stunning, especially the expansive Bikini Beach. The island is convenient with a few cafes, restaurants, and shops. The local residents are kind and welcoming. The reefs near the beach are well-maintained and incredibly beautiful. We also enjoyed a Manta excursion, just a few minutes from the island, where we had the amazing experience of seeing Mantas up close. The excursion was well-organized by Rifaa and his team. Additionally, the spa therapist, Erna, provided an excellent massage, enhancing our overall relaxation. We will definitely return again and again!

From the moment we arrived the whole experience at Reethi was wonderful… superb Maldivian style room right in the beach and an amazing house reef steps from the shore we saw turtles , Wray’s, sharks and so many fish … our 5 th trip to the Maldives and Reethi had the best house reef we have seen . Staff all very helpful nothing too much trouble , food excellent … we will be back !!!

My mother had an amazing stay at this Maldives hotel! The location is perfect, right by a stunning beach, offering beautiful sunrises and peaceful waves. The local coral reefs are snorkel’s and diver's paradise, with vibrant marine life and clear waters. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, making the experience even better. Whether you're here to relax or dive, this hotel has it all. Highly recommend!

Rather than a luxurious, tourist-heavy resort island, Kihaadhoo is a local island with a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. The islanders are incredibly kind, and everyone greeted me with a welcoming smile. A stroll through the village streets gave me a glimpse into their way of life and culture. ​The hotel room was very satisfying, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, a spacious bathroom with plenty of natural light, and fast Wi-Fi. The serene setting, surrounded by large trees and beautiful flowers, was wonderful. Sitting in a chair in the courtyard, I could relax to the sound of birds chirping and a pleasant breeze from the sea. ​Of course, I enjoyed the beautiful underwater world of the reef, filled with pretty fish, including cute clownfish, and sea turtles. ​The owner, Mohamed, was very polite and helped make my stay enjoyable and memorable. The restaurant chef was also kind, cooking the fish I caught and preparing a variety of delicious local dishes. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for place with outstanding Malidivian hospitality. ​The owner's motto, "Arrive as a guest, leave as a friend," truly came to life. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful island where I made so many friends.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at ODI Guest House, and it was nothing short of incredible! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, making me feel right at home. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any requests truly elevated my experience. The accommodations were fantastic—my bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring I had restful nights after a day of exploring. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, providing a perfect retreat after a day in the sun. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. Each meal was a delightful culinary journey, featuring fresh, local ingredients and a variety of flavors that showcased the best of Maldivian cuisine. I particularly enjoyed.

The room had everything we needed, the hotel has several games you can play for free (such as table tennis, table football...). There is a lot of greenery on the premises which I really enjoyed. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. I really liked the chef, he was eager to impress with his cooking skills. The staff is very attentive and the manager tries to involve you in as much of island life as possible. He gave us a tour of the island, answering our many questions. We were invited to clean the island with the locals and to participate in a hen party. Unfortunately, we left before seeing the decorating of the island and witnessing the local wedding. The house reef is mostly made of soft coral (which I found more beautiful than the hard one) and it's easy to see sea turtles there. Unfortunately, I arrived with an ear infection and the manager was quick to take me to the doctor. He even brought me the meds so I didn't have to go to the pharmacy myself, without even being asked! The entire hotel staff was very kind. Between the islands we visited (others being Male, Fulhadhoo, B. Maalhos and Digurah), Kudarikilu is, by far the best for experiencing the local life - it seems most genuine. In the evenings, you can observe locals fishing from the pier, admire baby sharks and stingrays that spend the night in the shallows, watch locals play volleyball (or even join in).
