Everything was great with Dive and sleep ! Dives, food, room and the staff. The Island is very relaxing, an atmosphere far from the big touristy resort. Everything is included in the price, no HIDDEN fee ! For me it’s a no brainer. Thanks to Midhu and all the staff for the fantastic stay !

Amazing personal experience with the sweet guys who work there. Also they are good entertainers. Never had a boring night. The owner is also a very helpful man and they all looked out for me and took good care of me, since I am a young solo female traveler. I felt very safe at White Sand Inn. I definitely recommend everyone to stay at this place when they visit Maldives.

We were relocated to this hotel after our original well-marketed hotel on the same island was overbooked, despite our early booking and confirmation. This hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, spacious, with a balcony, ample lighting, and a lovely bath with a shower. Daily water and coffee were offered, and cleaning services were excellent. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful—from reception & restaurant team to managers & cleaners. We were consistently offered assistance, from rides to Bikini Beach to food and amenities. The perfect balance of personal space and attentive service made our stay incredibly relaxing. Although we didn’t take any excursions (as we just wanted to enjoy the ocean), the hotel also offers various trips, snorkeling, diving, and experiences with whale sharks, mantas, and coral reefs, with equipment provided. We loved the hotel so much that when our original booking became available, we chose to stay here instead. The breakfast, dinner and local Maldivian meals were good & filling. The hotel’s restaurant offers a diverse menu, with local, Sri Lankan, European, and South Asian dishes, plus desserts. It’s also open to guests from other hotels & locals, all of whom we've seen coming a lot. Our return trip to Male was flawlessly organized through the hotel, with staff assisting with luggage and escorting us to the jetty. We highly recommend this hotel and its fantastic staff! We’re now eager to return and explore the Maldives' stunning underwater world.

Where to start. It has been an unbelievable experience. The real added value of this resort is the STAFF. EVERYONE are so special, smiling, welcoming that you feel at home from day 1. We have been hosted by Pratima who gave us a warm welcome and supported us through the entire stay. We cannot thank you enough for your support. Talking about the restaurant, the food is amazing, international and you have lots of variety food. Even in the restaurant, the team is making the difference. Robik, chef Padma, Nargis and everyone from the first to last one made our stay incredible. They are very hard workers, always smiling always ready to help you to find the best table, always there to give you the best customer service. It was so special every day for us with the team. Coming to the beach side, what to say. I just want to give a big THANK YOU to Shamim ( MIMO) and Dulal, 2 amazing person who will support you with towels, bed sun and always there to make you lough and smiling because they are both amazing. They always find a solution for you, they are always positive, supportive. It’s difficult to explain how we felt. You should just try seriously. Big mention to the animation team who was amazing from Karaoke to Fireshow to disco night and all the team that works in that locations. All the waiters were super nice ( there was an Egyptian guy who I don’t remember the name who was very friendly and welcoming with me). I would like to mention also people from the main bar, thank you for all your chocolate ice creams 😆. I want to mention also every single person who collect us and drop us off with buddy car, every single person who came to clean our room, every person who was in the lobby to support us with every enquiry. Everyone from the gym and from sport facilities. GUYS, YOU ARE AMAZING AND I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR WHAT YOU DID DURING OUR STAY. VILLA PARK IS IN OUR HEART NOW. THANK TO YOU ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We have stayed for 5 nights with Sharmar guest house for scuba diving. We initially booked for 3 nights but ended up extending our stay because this place realised our dream holiday. We are super frequent traveller both work and leisure　having stayed in so many levels/kinds of hotels/inns in many countries. What we love about Sharmar Guest house is honesty, friendliness and cleanliness. If you are looking for posh, private, luxury hotel where your desire to be treated as "king and queen" fulfils sort of atmosphere, perhaps this place is not for you because is not 7 star. If you are looking for the place where you feel home and relax with clean, unpretentious atmosphere where you share your diving experiences and passion over beers, under coconut trees on the white sands with other guests and staffs, this is your place to stay in Maldives. Everyone calls each other with name. You enjoy dives and after dives with lots of laughter. All you need after repetitive diving is rest then bed linens and rooms are super fresh and clean everyday. (tbh much better than many star hotels we have stayed!). Room smells great. Clean bathrooms with sufficient hot water after diving. Of course I need to mention about kind, patient and knowledgeable diving instructors/guides who make this place even more special. Diving experience was exceptional that we encountered 4 mantas in 2 days, a whale shark, 2 turtles in 2 days, a group of 13 white sharks, hundred of schooling fishes, and breathtaking underwater sceneries...(we have many more diving spots to be explored so will definitely come back !!) Lastly, when you check out, you will probably feel so satisfied and justified seeing your bill just like we did because everything is reasonably priced despite of "Holiday in Maldives". We really would like to congratulate Shamoon and Markus created this place in Maldives. Thank you Shamoon, Markus, Anita, Sein, and crew!

Very lovely place with a small garden where one can sit and enjoy a coffee. Coffee machine and coffee can be used anytime.The owner is a very very friendly outgoing person, who is there for his guests. Anything his guests need they can ask him for. We went on amazing tours with him and his stuff. They did everything to make us see the stunning sea life around Maamagili island. He and his stuff met all my expectations.

I have been traveling together with my girlfriend to the Maldives and we really didn't know how it's going to be on a local island. Shahid (host) is a person that sets value on good communication beforehand as well as on the trip itself. Before we came there, we chatted via WhatsApp about everything important (flights, diving license, prices etc.). That helped a lot because we felt informed all the way through. I wanted to dive, but my girlfriend cannot. So, she could stay on the boat, could do some snorkeling while I was diving. Shahid managed everything and paid much attention on us feeling good. We could ask him anything at any time. The stay at La Cabana was way better than expected because of the very personal contact to the super-friendly staff. All in all, the staff works in a very professional way, is reliable, open-minded, funny and makes you think of cancelling your flight back. :) We definitely would recommend staying at La Cabana. If you are looking for a family-like guesthouse offering many awesome diving and snorkeling trips, you should book here.
