They arranged our airport transportation, helped us choose the perfect rooms, and even recommended water activities and spa treatments. The reception staff was always super helpful and friendly, and the restaurant staff was always smiling and happy to serve us. The boat trip guides were also top-notch, and the ladies in the spa were simply incredible. We only stayed for three nights, but they made us feel so special and welcome. Best staff ever!
And the island itself is gorgeous! The beach is beautiful and not too crowded. Highly recommend 👌

Kazakhstanwhen we’ll come, they are wait us in the station, took all our luggages, then we went to the hotel. gave us “welcome drink”, it was very nice, after check-in they sent to our rooms fruits special, we stayed 2 days, send to our rooms fresh juices, fruits. Hotel gave us all things for water sports (glasses for snorkelling, like this) and special towel for beach.
About Breakfast: it’s like a-pa carte menu, you can choose, but we ordered every day same breakfast menu, because we liked so much, very very tasty breakfast. You can try pancakes with honey and butter. In the reception Mr. SUHAIL helped to us for all our needs. He was very kindly. All photos really.

EgyptThis is a lovely hotel and it was very good value. Book well ahead. The hotel is right by the bikini beach. Amazing view of the sea. The hotel is modern and clean. Breakfast is in a restaurant down the street from the hotel. I arrived on the very early morning ferry and a member of staff met me off the ferry. The staff had my room ready for me even though I was really too early but that was the only ferry time from Maafushi. My room was upstairs and it was beautiful, comfortable and modern with a jaw dropping view of the sea. The staff also had a welcome drink of fruit juice for me on arrival. The staff were very pleasant and kind. Free fresh water was available at all times.

CanadaNice bright, modern and clean room with everything you need for your stay. Provided coffee in the room, beach towels, shampoo etc. Very comfortable. Location was great- right near the jetty and our favorite restaurant- Tandoori flames. We booked the ferry to Maafushi through them and they met us at the ferry jetty and brought our suitcases for us. Also on the return they brought our suitcases to the terminal. Nice varied breakfast each morning. Staff were lovely!

Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to...
Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to our stay in Male and Ulkuhas. It didn't have too much construction ongoing so it wasn't that noisy with minimal debris going around. The beaches are really nice to walk around and lie around too. Snorkelling here is fun too since the shallow parts extend quite a distance before it goes into the coral reef cliff. Excursions here are nice as well since you get to experience snorkelling with nurse sharks, stingrays, and manta rays. Mantas of course are by luck where was the former are usually attracted via feeding. Food-wise, Dolce Vita is a mut-go since the chef is really good (would suggest local dishes, naan+butter chicken, noodles,), price is reasonable, ambience is perfect, and they do not charge any additional fee at all for card payments!

We booked a family room, and starting from the booking until reaching the Airport to go back home, Aqua Sunset was there for us; just like a family. They prepared all of our meals for us, not to forget to mention the beautiful walkway to the beach was right outside the guest dining area. So we all enjoyed the walk along the coastline, to the bikini beach together, after our meals. The end of the Marina is also right outside the dining area; where they feed the marine life & was also fun to watch with the family, after dinner. We had a super experience, too, with Aqua Sunset’s excursion management team. We booked a half-day family excursion, to swim with the turtles together, and it was so amazing! They even gave us a video of all of us together with the turtles. We all recommend Aqua Sunset because it’s budget/family friendly, the location is perfect, and because everyone made us feel welcomed. Enjoy!

There are a number of Hotels with restaurants with menu options slightly different from Ayala ... all within walking distance. The beach (Bikini beach) is beautiful, ALWAYS clean and even when the wind is blowing strongly from the Western side there is hardly any wind on the beach

It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.

Small but very nice bikini beach. unfortunately the island is much more dirty than other islands that we visited, a lot of plastic pollution which is just very sad.
The choice of restaurants is not very big, but the Ayala one is just perfect.

Our stay in Gulhi, Maldives was truly unforgettable. The island offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The bikini beach is just a one-minute walk from our hotel, with free access, available shade, and comfortable lounge chairs. The crystal-clear waters and soft sands made for a perfect beach experience.
The local hospitality was exceptional. Special thanks to Nilam for her warm smile and excellent service every day. Her colleague also deserves praise for the delicious and varied breakfast. The room service and housekeeping were top-notch, and the Wi-Fi network was excellent. We appreciated the regular provision of water bottles. The staff truly deserve a 10 out of 10 for their outstanding service.
Gulhi is a hidden gem in the Maldives, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Great value for money, room was spacious. Staff was very helpful, allowed us to use the washing machine and helped us get cash (no atm on the island), helped with luggage etc. Thank you!
Wifi was quite decent for Maldives. Download speed 4-8Mbps, but quite stable and did suffice for most. Mobile internet ofcourse works great in Gulhi too as in most Maldivian islands.

Really close to the beach and there is a restaurant right next door. Rooms were comfortable. Hotel gives beach towels which was a real plus for us as we didnt have that much baggage space.
Host Jalil was really pleasant and helpful. he would organize everything you need, from boat transfers, to excursions, give you advice etc.

Position of the hotel is great, the bikini beach is front the hotel. Room is good,and the yard is a surprise. Staffs are most friendly young people. There are not many kinds of food but the breakfast is tasty.
