GermanyWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very good and positive, from the friendly staff to the clean rooms. There was nice music playing in front of the restaurant, and a beautiful bar on the sand right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff who served it were excellent.
We were traveling with our 5-month-old baby, and eating breakfast was a bit challenging. For a few minutes I would hold the baby while my wife ate, then we would switch so I could eat. During this time, one staff member named Anis from Bangladesh, an incredibly kind and caring person, offered to hold our baby so we could eat properly. I have never experienced such kindness anywhere before.
In the evenings, when we were at the bar having drinks, the same staff member again offered to take care of the baby so we could relax and enjoy our time. This level of service and care is truly exceptional.
The hotel also provided a baby crib, which was beautifully decorated and made us feel very welcome as a family.
The hotel offers a transfer service from the port when you arrive by speedboat, including help with your luggage. The same driver can take you to Bikini Beach, although it’s really not necessary because the beach is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, especially because of the amazing staff. We highly recommend it, especially for families with small children.

Host Jalil was really pleasant and helpful. he would organize everything you need, from boat transfers, to excursions, give you advice etc.

We had a very satisfying stay here. The hotel may not have 5-star facilities, but honestly, we got way more than what we paid for. It’s really great value for money!
The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. One highlight was when our kids got so tired from the trip that we all accidentally fell asleep during lunch time and missed the buffet. Surprisingly, the hotel kindly prepared another lunch for us – such a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated!
If you're looking for a comfortable, affordable stay with warm hospitality, this place is a great choice. Highly recommended!

Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to our stay in Male and Ulkuhas. It didn't have too much construction ongoing so it wasn't that noisy with minimal debris going around. The beaches are really nice to walk around and lie around too. Snorkelling here is fun too since the shallow parts extend quite a distance before it goes into the coral reef cliff. Excursions here are nice as well since you get to experience snorkelling with nurse sharks, stingrays, and manta rays. Mantas of course are by luck where was the former are usually attracted via feeding. Food-wise, Dolce Vita is a mut-go since the chef is really good (would suggest local dishes, naan+butter chicken, noodles,), price is reasonable, ambience is perfect, and they do not charge any additional fee at all for card payments!

We booked a family room, and starting from the booking until reaching the Airport to go back home, Aqua Sunset was there for us; just like a family. They prepared all of our meals for us, not to forget to mention the beautiful walkway to the beach was right outside the guest dining area. So we all enjoyed the walk along the coastline, to the bikini beach together, after our meals. The end of the Marina is also right outside the dining area; where they feed the marine life & was also fun to watch with the family, after dinner. We had a super experience, too, with Aqua Sunset’s excursion management team. We booked a half-day family excursion, to swim with the turtles together, and it was so amazing! They even gave us a video of all of us together with the turtles. We all recommend Aqua Sunset because it’s budget/family friendly, the location is perfect, and because everyone made us feel welcomed. Enjoy!

There are a number of Hotels with restaurants with menu options slightly different from Ayala ... all within walking distance. The beach (Bikini beach) is beautiful, ALWAYS clean and even when the wind is blowing strongly from the Western side there is hardly any wind on the beach

It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach.
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.

Small but very nice bikini beach. unfortunately the island is much more dirty than other islands that we visited, a lot of plastic pollution which is just very sad.
The choice of restaurants is not very big, but the Ayala one is just perfect.

Our stay in Gulhi, Maldives was truly unforgettable. The island offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The bikini beach is just a one-minute walk from our hotel, with free access, available shade, and comfortable lounge chairs. The crystal-clear waters and soft sands made for a perfect beach experience.
The local hospitality was exceptional. Special thanks to Nilam for her warm smile and excellent service every day. Her colleague also deserves praise for the delicious and varied breakfast. The room service and housekeeping were top-notch, and the Wi-Fi network was excellent. We appreciated the regular provision of water bottles. The staff truly deserve a 10 out of 10 for their outstanding service.
Gulhi is a hidden gem in the Maldives, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Lovely staff, especially the chef and restaurant staff.
Great view of all compass points on the island.
Great food and great drinks menu (we especially loved the raw mango, tamarind and lychee and ginger coolers, Lampraise, mutton biryani and the beef bolognese).
The island was perfect for deep rest and relaxation and the people who live there are so kind. We loved our morning walks to the harbour to watch the 'comings and goings'.

There's no other opinion than that this hotel is a fantastic choice. It's well-priced and perfectly located. The breakfast is good. Plus, it offers the best tours with locals, and last but not least, Jalil, the main worker, is an amazing guy! I highly recommend it after staying here with my girlfriend for four nights.

Personel is very friendly and polite (special thank You for very kind receptionist and Nima from the hotel’s restaurant ;) )
Very tasty food and drinks at the hotel’s restaurant.
