Very nice and quiet location. The best local island experience. The host is very friendly and provides all the information you need. Many options for day trips and activities in reasonable prices.

I liked the serenity of the island. The property is well maintained and has excellent staff. Mr. Ibrahim was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. I will recommend strongly.

My friend and I stayed with Riyas between the 24th and 27th July and he was the best host we’ve ever had. We loved the hotel so much, we even decided to extend our stay in Gaafaru! The communication was fantastic even before arrival and Riyas organised transport to and from the airport for us. Upon arrival to the island, we were greeted with coconuts which was a nice touch! He also organised excursions (swimming with sharks and a trip to the sandbank) for a reasonable price, and also took incredible photos and videos for no extra charge. The breakfast provided was fantastic and the host was very accommodating to our dietary needs (we are both vegetarian). We also decided to eat dinner at the hotel every night and despite being vegetarian, we did not run out of things to choose from. The hotel was in pristine condition: the wifi worked perfectly and there was air-con and a fan in the bedroom, and a mini fridge! The bikini beach was a 2 minute walk from the hotel which is where we spent the majority of our time. After 6pm, you can go and see the stingrays at the beach which was cool, especially getting to feed them 😊 Overall, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had whilst travelling and would recommend to anyone visiting the Maldives! 🇲🇻

I had an unforgettable stay at a hotel in Gafaru. The beach is nice, clean and with shades. The building itself was stunning, and they had so many activities to choose fro. . The guy that works there is Jade, he was was super friendly and made sure everything was ok, and Chef Hassan’s food was amazing. Great vibes, great people, and so much to do. I’d go back now if I could and I highly recommend it!

Staff - Exceptional. They go above and beyond and even further to ensure you are taken care of end to end. Be it the food, creating memories, caring for you during activities, lovely and clean rooms, washrooms, bedding, special decorations - they just excel in everything. Please discuss every little question you may have about travelling to Gaafaru with them. They will give you complete details and transparent in everything. Once all the discussions are done, just relax and they will execute it to perfection.

Our 3rd visit in 3 years and just as a wonderful and perfect. Had the pleasure to visit several resorts and if want small, quiet and serene even in high season (but utterly special in lower density mid seasons), 30 min transfer from Male on sea plane and 5 min boat, limited kid noise given no kids club, amazing house reefs for snorkelling, first class eurodiver operation with 6/7 of the best dive sites in the Maldives within 45mins on a great boat with a truly great team, world class food and spa, a personal expression by the local Maldivian owner with genuinely first class personal management and service teams, there is no need to spend €1k plus per day at the busy and hyped brand resorts when this individual and perfect offering exists. We extended 6 days after 2 weeks to enjoy a little more…family feel and way they treat their staff means the service you receive is just sublime. Over water villas are just lovely and beach are quieter, do both if you can. Thank you Nazeer, Fira, Basil, rest of bar and restaurant teams, gardening team, Dora, Sajeith, boat crews and for making this our truly special home from home.

The island offers pure relaxation. It already starts at the airport, where the friendly groundstaff immediately starts taking any weight off your shoulders and takes care of all formalities. A big shoutout to Nafeel who constantly provided us with updates on the status of the seaplane. Upon arrival on the island, your personal butler takes care of all formalities and you are guided to your villa within minutes. The villas are spacious and very well equipped, in particular a Dyson hairdryer, outdoor shower, two sinks, a freestanding bathtub and a giant rainshower within the bathroom. The bed is comfortable and, of course, has ocean view and electric curtains. The patio offers various seating possibilities as does the rooftop. If you are a stargazer you can just lie there, have a drink and watch the stars and the moon go by. Each water villa has direct access to the sea where you can snorkel and discover all sorts of fish (including reef sharks and rays which we could spot as well). The villa was very well maintained and housekeeping did a thorough job in cleaning and refilling twice a day - if only other hotels would take such good care! Everything on the island is in walking distance, but the staff is also happy to take you with a buggy. The dining outlets are excellent and offer a great variety of food. Especially the breakfast buffet has everything you can ask for plus an impressive menu for freshly made egg and other dishes. The staff is attentive, fast and really thorough. The ice cream parlor is another benefit of this ressort. Homemade and tasty. And if you crave good coffee, the Cafe Lounge has what you need. Overall, our stay has been terriffic and relaxing because everything was so well organized. We will certainly visit again.

Design, clean, bathroom, pool, bird running around. Disconnected from urban life. Staff were nice, polite & helpful in all cases. Nice activities at the resort eg. music in the afternoon, live or Dj in the evenings.
