A Truly Unforgettable Stay in Paradise! Our stay at this beautiful resort in the Maldives was an absolute dream. The hotel is tucked away among tall palm trees, just 10 meters from a stunning white-sand beach with crystal-clear water. The entire island felt like a hidden paradise. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with manta rays in the incredible Hanifaru Bay – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. Every day, the hotel provided us with clean beach towels, snorkeling masks, and fins, making it so easy to enjoy the sea and the underwater beauty. The staff were exceptional – always kind, professional, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Sumesh, who went above and beyond every single day to make our stay perfect. He solved every little issue quickly and with a smile, making us feel completely looked after. We also want to highlight the head of dining, who ensured every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. The service in the restaurant was just as great as the food itself. For the price, the hotel was more than fair – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The island is small but absolutely magical, ideal for relaxation, nature lovers, and ocean adventures. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape with top-notch service.

I had the most incredible birthday at Bageecha Stay! The rooms were absolutely spotless, with a lovely fresh scent and everything feeling brand new. The service was top-notch – personalized and thoughtful at every turn. The food? Delicious and beautifully presented! One of the best parts is the ability to choose between local Maldivian dishes or European cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The island is the perfect size for exploring, with clean beaches and stunning ocean views. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out right before my eyes. The highlight of my stay was taking a boat trip to a deserted island, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime moment! For those who love to explore, the resort offers bicycles that you can take and ride around the island. It’s a fun and relaxing way to see every corner of this beautiful place. Everything at Bageecha Stay is designed with attention to detail. The rooms were cleaned regularly, ensuring everything stayed fresh and pristine. They even have special branded beach towels, which was a lovely touch and added to the luxurious feel of the stay. The host and all the staff were extremely helpful. They have provided all the information I asked for before the arrival and they have facilitated the snorkeling trips for us. When we left, they also wrote to us to make sure we have arrived ok to the new location. Lovely! The room was clean and big enough. The bathtub in the room was a big plus.

John, Ahmed and Hamdan would go to the moon and back to make you happy. They are the best. The hotel is cozy and clean, they offer plenty activities at a fair price but not force you to buy anything and organize transport for the island according to your other flights. They reply to whatsapp at all times and offer very good but discrete customer service. Food is good and reasonably priced. Big rooms with space to hang and put clothes, hot water and aircon work great. Free unlimited water, coffee and tea! Definetely recommend it!

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.

The manta snokelling trip in Hanifaru bay was stunning - seeing ~20 giant manta rays, the sensation is just difficult to describe in words! And the sunset fishing trip was also beyond expectation - we caught amost 20 fishes and the guesthouse helped cook the catch without surcharge.

The island is very small and you can walk it, in flip-flops, rather slowly from one end to another in about 15 minutes. It is very quiet, full of wonderful beaches, seemed safe and the grocery store was easily reachable as well.

Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island. There is not much to do other than diving and beach time, both of which were truly wonderful. The island does not allow alcohol, and females should respect the Muslim culture and cover shoulders and thighs, and swim at the "bikini beach." A bicycle is all that is needed to get around the island, Keep in mind that there are few cafes and shops, so be prepared for diving, sun and relaxation. Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport...

Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport and on the other half by the locals and a few guesthouses. Perfect place to relax and forget all the rest. Not much to see on the island. Few souvenir shops and one restaurant near the airport. Some excursions are organized by the guesthouses. Very quiet place. Friendly people, lovely beach and dolphins strolling by. I recommend Honney Bunny restaurant next to the airport. Dharavandhoo is not a place to stay for too long if you prefer busy environments.
