A very well sized hotel, just as we like it, and it is run by locals and not by a corporate chain, and this was also of importance for us when we booked. The is something like an authentic local life on the island, that is something we also appreciated. For travellers who do like individuality it's the perfect choice. The architecture is simple but nice, the location is excellent, the stuff is unobtrusive, helpful and very kind.

Perla exceeded my expectations the moment Dominic greet us at the port, him and the entire team were super friendly and went above and beyond for their guests… even arranging us a private trip to the sandbank last minute. Nothing is too much trouble for this team. The owner Hamila and her son were amazing and I would recommend anyone to stay with them at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are large, Netflix on TV, swimming pool, free snorkel gear, located by the shops and restaurants. This really is a great local island, with amazing people.

Ari Grand Hotel on Dhangethi Island exceeded all expectations during my recent stay. The friendly staff made me feel truly at home from the moment I arrived. The clean swimming pool and inviting garden sofas were perfect for relaxation and work. The spacious room, along with the unexpected upgrade to the Jacuzzi Suite, added a touch of luxury to my experience. Breakfast was a delightful treat each morning, with a variety of delicious options. I'm already planning my next visit to this serene oasis. Thank you, Ari Grand Hotel, for an unforgettable getaway!

We arrived at Nova for a 5 day all inclusive beach villa stay, with the main aim for me and my partner to dive every day!! Accommodation The room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The outside patio space was tiled, with a shaded double day bed. Where we chilled out after an energetic morning of diving. To the side there was a fresh water foot wash, with a sand pathway leading to a short walk to the beach. The bathroom was open air and immaculate in every detail. 2 showers, one glass walled and the other out in the elements. Dining We tried all the restaurants at the resort and were never disappointed. Soul kitchen turned out quality, as did Flames. We finished off on our last night in Mizo - which was epic. The staff were fantastic, and couldn’t do enough. Diving We dived twice a day. The dive center is very well run, with excellent local knowledge of the surrounding hot spots. The team were professional and gave detailed briefing before each dive. The boat crews deserve a mention as they really looked after you post dive fruit, coffee, water etc. Snorkelling The house reef off the main jetty was teaming with life. Lots of fish to see, rays and even the resident octopus!! Spar We had 3 treatments, a sports massage each and my partner had a hot stone massage later. Excellent treatments, and staff. We’ve been lucky enough to visit quite a few islands in the Maldives and we simultaneously said, we will be back!

The garden and the welcome arrangement with cold towels :) was a nice touch. The owner is helpful, just ask him anything. The road to the beach is beautiful and only 2 min away. Restaurant at 2 min away also and other 2 at 4 min away, they only accept cash in local currency, but there is an ATM on the island. We never been to the first one, just to the other two. I will put a picture with the prices (normal prices, at least for Romania :) ). We also had breakfast (every day is the same: omelet, 3 slices of toasted bread, one sausage, 2 butter and 2 gems, orange juice and you can ask for coffee or tea). We had a standard room with garden view and an extra bed for the child (I believe it is room 303). There is a problem with the air conditioner, you can't set it so it does not blow the air in your had at night. The beach is Okay. shallow (very good for kids) and lot's of fish, perfect for snorkeling. Also snorkeling gear will be provided free, just ask the owner. The island has a shopping road, just be careful and do not look very interested on a product because prices are negotiable (like a lot :) ), you will not see any price on the products. Don't expect 5 star accommodation, the 10/10 evaluation is a value/money

I love that hotel so much! Everyone was so kind, when I arrived I got a t-shirt for free and the owner took me on snorkeling trip with Whaleshark, Mantas and Dolphins. They are so kind, because when I left my hotel I forgot my passport in my room. The staff was so quiuck and they called to my speed boat which turn back. If they weren’t so quick, I would have a big problem at airport. Thanks a lot and see you again!

Best island of the maldives. We've Been to alot. Reef is one of the best. Service is the best from every island we visited. Checkin at moment we arrived. Check out 14.30 as our flight was at 19.45 in male. Food like no other. Shame there is no choice between waterplane or cheaper boat. We looked at prices and waited for good deal.

It is a small enough island to walk around.

It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello. There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food. There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists. We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

The staff tries to keep it very clean.

The staff tries to keep it very clean. They are friendly and would help with anything. The food is varied and very rich. The massage therapists are at a very good level. I did not like the markup of goods in the only store. The ratio is ten times.

Firstly to clarify the resort is located in Theluveligaa, not Dhangethi. Theluveligaa is a small island, I was a solo traveller (mid 30s female) the water villa is amazing and the outside space is spacious with a lot of seating options. I hardly spent time on the beach. The resort itself is very quiet even when full. There are no motorised sports however you can kayak, snorkel and dive (you can get your licence there) and do other trips: Whale Sharks, Mantas, Turtles. The food options are good, drinks are expensive a juice will set you back $18 staff are friendly, especially the dive instructors (Julia & Ebu) and receptionist (Maria) I would definitely recommend this resort and felt safe on my own.

Quiet, lovely colourful houses, quite small but surrounded by other islands. Head for the jetty especially at sunset. Two recommended cafes/ restaurants: Compass with its verandah dining tables where you can watch rays and baby nurse sharks being fed at dusk - the maitre d’ - Sampath was charming and obliging and the food was amazing. Try also the Blue Moon Cafe with the equally charming Anup as maitre d’. Not much coral as the island is surrounded by sea grass

A beautiful location. with some good snorkeling, which is provided by "Mother Nature" not the resort. In all other respects the resort is poor to terrible. We paid £10,500 for 10 days A.I.P; party of 4 in two poorly maintained Jacuzzi water villas. (Not a Jacuzzi- brand name - a Sovereign Spa Hot tub.) Some services offered simply don't work, and management are fully aware of this but continue to advertise. Guests are treated with disdain and rudeness by client relations team/management who are not visible. Included trips - Sunset Punch / Dhangethi are an excuse to try and take some more cash from their guests. They offer only excuses...."we are on an island so it is difficult to.....(insert complaint here)" "All Inclusive MInus" is a better description of their package. Got much better service, food, accommodation and customer care in Mauritius/Zanzibar/Thailand/Florida/Dubai/Turkey/Madeira/Cyprus/ Marakech etc etc.

- Great location, clean , comfortable, and functional - staff are very helpful and friendly. Faarii was generous, friendly, happy and very welcoming person. - Lunch was good, and decent breakfast (coffee and tea were available all the time for free - comfortable pillows and bed - very good WiFi - The hotel organises diving and other sport activities and tours, I’ve not booked with them but just FYI

Such a lovely accommodation on the beautifull island Dhangethi!. Mohamed, Ahmed and the rest off the staff were making sure we are having a good time. They were already helpfull before we arrived at Dhangethi by answering all our questions and arranging the transfer. A early breakfast, a great excursion? Nothing they can't arrange! Thank you for having us as your guests!

Everything!!! The hotel was perfect, the personnel very kind. As french people we really appreciate the champagne, wine and cheese. The food was really good special mention for the tuna. We are Diver and we had a great experience with the diving center. I recommend 100% this hotel ! Thank you so much for the wonderful holidays in this little paradise.

The place we stayed was the properties newest hotel. Its right next to The main residence. Place is brand new and very spacious. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staffs are really kind and helpful. Flexibility of staffs made the stay more convenient and felt like home. Definetly would recommend this place.
