Exceptionally well-run and comfortable guest house! Things we liked: - The work ethic and friendliness of Areef. He worked nonstop to make our stay perfect. When we departed he came down to the harbour to make sure there were no complications with our boat and we left on time - The room was fantastic. Immaculately clean and very functional. Internet 10/10. Cleaned every day. The shower was piping hot and like something from a 4-star hotel - Location is excellent just a 5-minute walk from Bikini Beach and a similar distance to the brilliant Compass Restaurant located on the beach - Beautiful quiet and clean inner courtyard where everyone has breakfast. There is somewhere to wash off the sand before going into the building which ensures everything stays clean - Areef as mentioned does everything in his power to ensure a good time is had. He even pointed me to the local football pitch where I was able to join a game of 5 a side - The price of the accommodation is excellent and offers unrivalled value for money from our experiences of travelling the Maldives - Dhangethi is a lovely community island. Here you experience the real Maldives. There are only 5-6 guesthouses so tourists do not overwhelm the atmosphere like they do on other islands - Dhangethi is a great place to base yourself if you want to see Dhigurah. Dhangheti is much more intimate and enjoyable to stay on. We did a speedboat day trip to Dhigurah for $10 each way which was a sufficient time there. It felt great to 'come home' to Dhangethi after

The clean swimming pool and inviting garden sofas were perfect for relaxation and work. Overall, Nova is a wonderful place. On arrival our room was upgraded to one with jacuzzi, what was super surprise. Villa on water was spacious and modern, super clean with wonderful ocean view. Lots of colorful fishes, sharks just outside. Nice reef around. Good variety of food. In all in package quite good variety of drinks. Beautifull clean beach, a lot of space for everyone. And last but not least, fantastic service - people are a great advantage of this place.

It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello. There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food. There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists. We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

The staff tries to keep it very clean. They are friendly and would help with anything. The food is varied and very rich. The massage therapists are at a very good level. I did not like the markup of goods in the only store. The ratio is ten times.

Firstly to clarify the resort is located in Theluveligaa, not Dhangethi. Theluveligaa is a small island, I was a solo traveller (mid 30s female) the water villa is amazing and the outside space is spacious with a lot of seating options. I hardly spent time on the beach. The resort itself is very quiet even when full. There are no motorised sports however you can kayak, snorkel and dive (you can get your licence there) and do other trips: Whale Sharks, Mantas, Turtles. The food options are good, drinks are expensive a juice will set you back $18 staff are friendly, especially the dive instructors (Julia & Ebu) and receptionist (Maria) I would definitely recommend this resort and felt safe on my own.

Quiet, lovely colourful houses, quite small but surrounded by other islands. Head for the jetty especially at sunset. Two recommended cafes/ restaurants: Compass with its verandah dining tables where you can watch rays and baby nurse sharks being fed at dusk - the maitre d’ - Sampath was charming and obliging and the food was amazing. Try also the Blue Moon Cafe with the equally charming Anup as maitre d’. Not much coral as the island is surrounded by sea grass

A beautiful location. with some good snorkeling, which is provided by "Mother Nature" not the resort. In all other respects the resort is poor to terrible. We paid £10,500 for 10 days A.I.P; party of 4 in two poorly maintained Jacuzzi water villas. (Not a Jacuzzi- brand name - a Sovereign Spa Hot tub.) Some services offered simply don't work, and management are fully aware of this but continue to advertise. Guests are treated with disdain and rudeness by client relations team/management who are not visible. Included trips - Sunset Punch / Dhangethi are an excuse to try and take some more cash from their guests. They offer only excuses...."we are on an island so it is difficult to.....(insert complaint here)" "All Inclusive MInus" is a better description of their package. Got much better service, food, accommodation and customer care in Mauritius/Zanzibar/Thailand/Florida/Dubai/Turkey/Madeira/Cyprus/ Marakech etc etc.

Lovely place in a lovely, small inhabitated island. We had a double room with ocean view. The hotel has a private beach which is the venue of the meals and also a place where one can go snorkeling, kayaking or try the SUP. Bikini beach is only a few minutes by walk. Staff is nice and friendly, always at disposal, food is excellent. The hotel has its own diving centre so they can offer a wide range of programs, activities. The entire staff is professional and helpful, we loved this place, thank you, Endheri group!

A cozy and safe oasis with a great location in lovely Dhangethi. Ellen took good care of us throughout our stay, and communication with Ellen went flawlessly before and during our trip. The room air conditioning and Wifi worked well, the bed was huge and good for sleeping. Child-friendly accommodation, nearby playground and soccer field. Ellen and Nadeem organized memorable trips for us to Turtle reef, snorkeling and see the dolphins at sunset. Dhangethi Retreat will always have a special place in our hearts!

we stayed in a water villa. the Villa was more beautiful than the online photos. we had a awesome view. the stuff cleaned up the room twice a day. We get a welcome drink and cold toweld when we arrived. Then we were invited by the Hotel for a Cocktail Party- very great!!! The food was so so delicious. we enjoyed an italian, maldives and mediterran night for dinner. the wohl stuff, espacially the Restaurant Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Thanks to you all. we will never forget our memories here.

Great clean and lush green guesthouse. It is small and literally a minute away from bikini beach. The hotel has own boat and provides snorkeling and other trips. We saw mantas, coral reefs and it was amazing!
