Absolutely incredible house! Situated in a private area with very short way to the beautiful beach where we watched the best sunsets. The house is very well equipped, clean, with private indoor pool in a garden, perfect grill, perfect patio zone. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen is very well organised, excellent parking. The landlord was very nice and helpful. We contacted him quite often and he always helped with advise or arrangments. No mosquitos at all. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Studio d'Artiste. Keivan is a lovely host. The room is spacious and clean, the view to the pool and the whole garden is beautiful. There is a small outdoor kitchen with a fridge and breakfast with fruits, bread, butter, jams and a variety of teas is available. We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely time there.

The apartment is very tastefully designed, that helps you to rest a lot. Everything is clean! You have everything you need in the kitchen. Splendid terrace to relax in the evening. The ocean in 4 minutes walk! And the hosts that always care and provide you with any information you need! Amazing place, amazing hosts and great apartment. Fabrice and Pascale are really welcoming and warm. We ended up feeling we made new friends. They gave us great advice on what to do in Mauritius both before and during our stay. Fabrice called us in advance and gave us advice on how to move around in Mauritius, why we ended up renting a car, which made the trip a whole lot better. Upon arrival Fabrice took us on a guided tour in Tamarin to show us where to eat, shop and so on. We ended prolonging our stay even though we had booked another place in advance. We stayed in the penthouse apartment with our 7 month old baby and it worked out really well. They offered us to borrow a baby chair, baby cot and carry backpack for hikes. They have three sweet dogs, and we weren't worried for a second about them. They even came up one morning to say hi but only because we forgot to close the gate to our apartment. When the baby was put to sleep we especially enjoyed the roof terrasse. All in all we would highly recommend to stay with Fabrice and Pascale and we hope to come back one day.

I will rate the service 10/10. The staffs provide such an amazing service that for the first time of my life, I didn't have a complain, my husband was astonished too by the service. The staff was very nice to my parents, to myself, the reason Im stating this is because we are Mauritian and sometime because of being local, most hotel staffs tends to forget that we are paying for the same service as a foreign tourist and lack to give the local the proper service. I paid for one night and extend for a second night. Value for money. The place is clean and they really accommodate for your needs. The staffs at the restaurant will watch every step, clean your table or plate, pull the chair for you to sit, without asking, and help you to carry plates. The Spa was also a wonderful experience. I took the beach front view, is where you get the best view of the resto, beach

Sure La Preneuse is the nearest beach, though If you're looking for the best beaches around, take that trip to Le Morne beach, it's worth it. We went to the only Thai restaurant in the area,'Ousaporn', indeed an oasis in that small town, great Deco, felt right, the staffs were admirable, the food was succulent but portion were quite small disproportionately over-priced . A day at the beach at Flic en flac is worth the tour, watch the sun set into the deep sea, then hit one of the restaurant around the area.

Great first time visit to the Island. Beautiful beaches with a multitude of activities for all ages. Christmas Day boat trip to Ile Aux Benitiers, which included a tasty braai (barbeque) swimming with dolphins and snorkeling around Crystal Rock

At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was...

At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was that only one tv channel was in English - BBC World. All others in French / Creole. No mainstream music channels. Tamarin is a small village, full of friendly people. The atmosphere is open and you get the sense of tranquility and safety. It is centrally located for South and West visiting. something for everyone.

The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic.

The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic. You can get anything there, even gifts. The Coffee shop at the Super U was two times cheaper than the other Coffee Shops. It is not very expensive at the Super U. We ate at the Happy Rajah and the Casa Pizza. The food was fantastic.

The hotel has a nice spa, the activities were nice including Credits depending on the length of your stay. The staff is very nice and mostly helpful. However, the shower was broken and the shower door was leaking water so that every time we took a shower half the bathroom was under water. The baths and toilet were not properly cleaned and the sun lounger at the pool were dirty.

Beautiful, secure location next to Tamarin bay. Sensational view from the terrace which was well equipped with sun lounger’s and outdoor dining table. A range of water sport’s equipment was available. The sea was too rough to take out the kayaks, however the body boards were a fun way to make use of the waves. Both bedrooms had good AC, with a fan provided for the living area and mosquito prevention devices supplied (it’s usually only be that gets bitten!). Overall I’d say it’s great value for a very scenic spot and would recommend.

The property had great facilities. Hospitality of the host is very commendable. There was car parking, air conditioning in both bedrooms and the apartment we chose was very spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped. The host had left breakfast for us on our arrival day which was very kind. She also helped us by introducing us to contacts for car hire and all the activities. Tamarin bay was just three minutes drive from this property.

The property is very stylish and equipped with everything you need a few steps to residence's pool. There's a supermarket, local shops, and a bakery nearby. We were delighted with the warm croissants for breakfast every day. You need a car to get to the beach. The public Tamarin Beach is just a 5-minute drive away but we preferred the Wolmar beach 25-minute drive away at Flic'a'Flac.
