Our stay was absolutelly amazing! The staff is extremely ready-to-help all the time. The food (we had half-board) was pure delight, room was so nice! We are definitelly coming back to this place, once we are back on the island again. The bikes, paddleboards, snorkling equip directly in the hotel were so convenient. The hotel was so calm and quite, pure oasis of relaxation. I would definitely recommend to couples who just want to chill, eat well, recharge in a peaceful environment. The beach is not so great for swimming, but for snokling is like as you be in a live aquarium. Swimm-able beaches are very near, so we didnt mind this at all. Overall rating 11/10 :)

Beautifully landscaped surroundings, plenty of space with sun loungers, choice of water activities mostly without waiting, spacious restaurants and bars, excellent food. There was a choice of over 10 hot dishes daily from all over the world, plus a variety of pasta and pizzas, a large selection of vegetable salads, dressings, desserts, and fresh fruit. The helpful bar staff offered great drinks on request, and a smiling Michael always made our evening cocktails more enjoyable. The hotel was clean, the room was meticulously cleaned by Tazeem who surprised us with towel animals.

The location was perfect. Close to all shops, restaurants and a super short walk away from the beach! The property itself is very nice, newly renovated place and decorated with attention for detail. Voile Bleue is a small hotel located near the beach. Staff is super friendly and helpful, and our room was kept very clean. While a hotel is relatively small, there was almost always a free sunbed near the swimming pool and there was never a problem with parking space. Location is good for anyone interested in the northern and western parts of Mauritius, though access to the south and east may take some time and require a car. Be aware that the beach ahead of the hotel is not for swimming due to a rocky bottom, but one can swim at the nice artificial lagoon ahead of the next hotel and also some beautiful public beaches are a short bus or car ride away.

We liked that hotel a lot. It is really small and cozy . But still with the great restaurant and views. And good spa ! The stuff is very nice, cute, hospitable, attentive and do their best for your comfortable staying. Everything was really good and we definitely would have stayed at that hotel while next coming to Mauritius.

An ideal spot away from the bustle of Grand Baie.

An ideal spot away from the bustle of Grand Baie. Perfect for couples. There is a large public beach a few minutes walk away which has all the local facilities. Beach shacks selling local food and fresh fruit juices. The local people were all very friendly and the taxi rank nearby was ideal for planning trips.

We have been coming to Pointe aux Cannoniers for many years...

We have been coming to Pointe aux Cannoniers for many years and each time it gets even better. A few more cafes and restaurants seem to pop up each time we visit , which is a welcome surprise . The local bus service is excellent during the day , as it takes you either to Grand Baie in one direction in about 10 minutes ( busier , more shops , a big supermarket called Super-U where we stock up on food and drink ) , or Mon Choisy beach or Trou aux Biches in the other direction . We feel Pointe aux Cannoniers is a lot quieter than Grand Baie which suits us better .

Breakfast is undercover alongside the pool which was a comfortable relaxing setting to start the day. Both service and food were great, there was plenty to choose from during our four day break. We prefer smaller boutique hotels and this lived up to our expectations based on previous reviews from the majority of guests. For transport on the island we either walked or used the new metro and local busses which is very economical and all part of the experience!
