This is a small boutique hotel with a beautiful and peaceful setting facing the beach. Our room had a sea view and I believe all of the rooms did. When falling asleep at night you can hear the waves. The food was very nice. The dinner as part of the half board was great - served in a gourmet style with sufficient choice of options. We liked the cocktails offered by the management on Thursday evening at the beach and the tea hour in the afternoon. The pool was warm and clean. We had our anniversary and the hotel made special efforts to enhance our experience. Thank you.

Beautifully landscaped surroundings, plenty of space with sun loungers, choice of water activities mostly without waiting, spacious restaurants and bars, excellent food. There was a choice of over 10 hot dishes daily from all over the world, plus a variety of pasta and pizzas, a large selection of vegetable salads, dressings, desserts, and fresh fruit. The helpful bar staff offered great drinks on request, and a smiling Michael always made our evening cocktails more enjoyable. The hotel was clean, the room was meticulously cleaned by Tazeem who surprised us with towel animals.

The location was perfect. Close to all shops, restaurants and a super short walk away from the beach! The property itself is very nice, newly renovated place and decorated with attention for detail. We had a spacious room with a nice view of the pool and the sea. The breakfast was good and it was served in the Le Skipper restaurant overlooking the sea. There are also other nice restaurants 5-10 minutes walking distance away. The staff were super nice and friendly! Overall we had a great stay and hope we’ll be back again!

An ideal spot away from the bustle of Grand Baie. Perfect for couples. There is a large public beach a few minutes walk away which has all the local facilities. Beach shacks selling local food and fresh fruit juices. The local people were all very friendly and the taxi rank nearby was ideal for planning trips.

We have been coming to Pointe aux Cannoniers for many years...

We have been coming to Pointe aux Cannoniers for many years and each time it gets even better. A few more cafes and restaurants seem to pop up each time we visit , which is a welcome surprise . The local bus service is excellent during the day , as it takes you either to Grand Baie in one direction in about 10 minutes ( busier , more shops , a big supermarket called Super-U where we stock up on food and drink ) , or Mon Choisy beach or Trou aux Biches in the other direction . We feel Pointe aux Cannoniers is a lot quieter than Grand Baie which suits us better .

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon at the Cannonbier Beachcomber. The resort has everything you need!! easy access to the beach and pool, stunning bay views for sunset and diversity of restaurants. We enjoyed the gym and sauna each day as well as the wide range of food at the buffet. The boat trip to flat island that the hotel organised for our Honeymoon was also a highlight. thank you!!
