The property is right next to the glorious Mont Choisy beach and overlooks the sea, so there are beautiful views. The gardens around the property are beautiful with lots of beautiful birds singing in the trees. I spent a lot of time enjoying the flora and fauna from my balcony. The room was really nice and clean and it was know to have kitchen facilities to make tea and toast in the morning. The staff were amazing and helped us with organising cabs, excursions and even wrapping our sarees for a wedding. Special mentions to Sanjay (we miss you, buddy) on reception who dealt with all the dramas we threw at him and Cindy for organising our amazing boat trips! The trio wouldn’t have been the same without you both.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment in Mont Choisy. One of the best features of this accommodation is its location. Situated between two of the island’s finest beaches, both were within a 10-minute walk. Additionally, there’s a small shop conveniently located next to the apartment, perfect for picking up any essentials. A short bus ride will take you to either Grand Baie or Trou aux Biches, both of which offer a wider selection of restaurants and shops. The apartment was well-equipped with everything you might need for a longer stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the incredible hospitality of Karine and Jimmy. Jimmy generously paid for our first supermarket purchase when we mistakenly arrived without exchanging any cash for rupees. Of course, we reimbursed him as soon as possible. He also organized a reasonably priced, full-day taxi service that allowed us to explore more remote parts of the island. On top of that, they went above and beyond by helping us recover a SIM card we had accidentally left in the taxi. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend this place more!

If you’re not big on reading, here’s my stay in one word: unforgettable. But if you’ve got a few minutes, let me take you through it. Spending a week in the same place, especially as a solo traveler, means the hotel and its people become a kind of family. Some you love, some you avoid, but at Coral Azur, I loved every single member. Even the uncle of the house, Francesco, turned out to be fantastic. From the moment I checked in, I felt at home. I was welcomed with open arms by the star of the hotel, Jennifer Lopez, and even treated to a complimentary lunch. Shilpa joined me, and walked me through what to expect in Mauritius and shared tips and recommendations. That personal touch set the tone for everything that followed. I’ve stayed in some of the best hotels in the world and I never received that personalised welcome. My room was spotless, modern, and came with a view that felt like a painting. Housekeeping went above and beyond every single day, not only leaving the room pristine but neatly arranging the little chaos I left behind. The daily restock of soft drinks and water was a small touch, but one I truly appreciated. My favorite spot was without a doubt, the chairs beneath the coconut trees overlooking Mont Choisy beach. I spent countless hours reading there, feeling as though I had stepped into a dream. Life at Coral Azur was never boring. Daily events made sure of that. One highlight was Friday’s gathering, where guests were invited to drinks with the management. One by one, the staff came out dancing and smiling, full of joy. The sign outside may say 3 stars, but my heart says 5. Thank you to every single person at Coral Azur for making this trip one I will never forget.

The beach of Mon Choisy is a long sunny sandy beach nice for...

The beach of Mon Choisy is a long sunny sandy beach nice for swimming. During October to March it is hot there but the sea is great for swimming. However during these months some cyclones may also visit the Island ! Other months are also sunny and the climate are cooler around 24c during the day. In weekdays the beach is calm and it is not crowded. However during Sundays and public holidays locals are there and it is very crowded but as it is a long beach there is still some space for everyone. On Sundays expect loud music from loudspeakers by some picknickers though there is law about it but it is rarely respected. There are also many stray dogs on the beach but they are not aggresive.

Turquoise Indian Ocean, mostly flat, like an open lagoon with sea waves in the distance. Beautiful sandy beach with trees for shade, food vendors and amenities. Really lovely beach for walking, swimming, tanning and picnicking. Plenty of water sports on offer there too. Good for romantic couples or family fun.

I had a short but wonderful experience with wonders team.The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the product was exactly what I needed. "The team at the Deck went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. The food was delicious, and the service. their customer service is outstanding. It has made my stay so much easier.

What a gem of a hotel. from the efficient checkin- ccheckout process, each moment was delightful. the hotel has a very cozy atmosphere and cheerful environment. the cleanliness of the room and very comfortable bed. from the delicious dining with his stunning view of the turquoise water.

Mon Choisy is not that big, but their beach is one of the biggest, so you can always find a quiet spot. The beach at Trou aux Biches is better because it is very close to restaurants, a big supermarket like Chez Popo and if you wish you can rent sunbeds, access to showers etc in a beach club or try and get a day pass at the Beachcomber hotel. Then you can enjoy a day of luxury hotel facilities without having to stay there.

Good morning. In fact I have nothing to say about. All the facilities & privacy were all there. All you need is to spend/ & profit all the facilities. The rooms were excellent & cleanliness as well. The lieu and surroundings were very peaceful to relax and calm. I would like to express my special thanks to MRS. ANCERINE and as well as to Mr. ZANE who warmly welcome our family. I did highly appreciate the bungalow. I would recommend customers/ clients to get to know that place as you won't regret it. It is a very nice, charming place. You feel in security with your family. Thanks for all though my stay was short, as in fact I did celebrate my wife's birthday on that day. Thanks for all continue on that trend. Keep it up. A big bravo. FROM, MR. & MRS. A real nice hotel with beautifull pool and sea view. Also the best beds I had in Mauritius. I don't understand why people complain about the beach, really 100m to the righth there is a perfect beach.
