Superb in every way. The warmest of Mauritian hospitality from moment of arrival and throughtout. Porter Suresh is a longstanding and proud ambassador of the hotel. Location simply stunning. All inclusive includes quality drinks and excellent meals. Fish is the star but the menu is wide and varied and important for me locally plus sustainable sourced. Full credit to Chef Sudhir. Our 4th stay! A hotel revamp since our last has made incredible rooms even better. A wide activity programme and sunset chill music makes the Veranda the perfect place to relax and recharge. Entertainment manager Stephen checks in regularly to makes sure everyone is happy. We will be back.

Close to supermarket and shops Beach is 5mins on foot🥰 The rooftop is really a nice place to relax and watch the beautiful sunset of Mauritius. The bar has delicious cocktails and kitchen serve good food! Good breakfast with a lot of choices. Room is clean and spacious with a small living room. Staffs are very friendly☺️

The highlight is definitely the stunning fine-sand beach with outstanding, personalized service. This was my second time at the hotel I came back for the service, and once again I was not disappointed. Check-in is done directly in the room, and each room has its own sunbed, so there’s never any stress about finding a spot. I found the mattress a bit hard and the pillows too soft, but they immediately added a topper and offered different pillow options. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the room free of charge, which is perfect if you want to sleep in. I loved the little touches at the sunbeds sparkling or still water, an ice cream, even cleaning your sunglasses. The spa is small but charming, and there are free water activities such as snorkeling, paddle boarding, or even sailing a catamaran with a crew member. I was truly pampered by the staff, who were always warm and smiling. The facilities may be less modern, but the exceptional service really makes the difference. I can’t wait to come back again thank you to the whole team!

It's very authentic and easy to navigate... it's a bit tricky walking around as there really are not too many pedestrian lanes. Endless cute shops, restaurants, the people were so friendly.. Good value for money too!

Mauritius is called by its locals as paradise island i mean everyone says amazing things about the country they originate from however the people of mauritius truly mean it when they say it, its a beautiful colourful, green and tropical country with endless miles of beaches always a stone throw away. where ever you go you see beautiful coconut trees, palm trees and mango trees and some stunning birds, colourful dragon flies and bats the nature alone is so breathtaking. the food, the locals, the price point of excursions, the weather and the beaches were literally out of this world. its a country that i would genuinely consider going again and again infact i actually cant wait to step back into mauritous and forget my blues, if your a avid diver or snorkler then mauritius is a must, we did so much in the space of 9 days from paragliding, snorking with turtles, undersea water walking, diving, water sking, off road riding using ATVs/quad bikes, watched horse racing, zip lining, shopping in there vibrant colourful markets, visiting historical sites that were rich with history and different cultures, eating out local street food and world class cuisines for very little money. super affordable and what a beautiful hidden gem of a country. family and myself were completely blown away by it to the point we are rethinking ever going back to places like dubai over beautiful tropical natural countries like mauritius. we also had a friendly parrot that would visit us daily and gladly sit amongst us without being scared or shy and share some food with us.

Grand Baie is a good place for family or couples as it has beautiful white sandy beach, good for shooping with lots of brands from the world with affordable price plus most of tourist destionation can be accessed with out fee

Great area, all within walking distance to shops, beaches...

Great area, all within walking distance to shops, beaches and restaurants. Transport is readily available via car rental, bus or taxi. Loved the Banana Bar for evening drinks and live music. Wonderful meals at the Trojan Horse Greek restaurant and Sunset Beach Cafe for breakfast.

I am a travel writer, and though I usually avoid the touristy areas, this township has lovely coastal areas, nice bars, and great local & international cuisine. I would return anytime to relax & feast and it features in my next book: Current book, What the Monsoon Knows

For the owner/ team that thinks the guest reviews are dishonest. Here are a few pics of the disgusting state of affairs. The pics include cockroaches on the curtains, rat's poop in the living area, burnt and dirty utensils, a flooded bathroom and a dirty pool. Hope this helps other guests avoid this place.

For our family and our 8th Mauritius trip, first time at this location, was perfect. Private pool. Great facilities, all you need for a family and perfect for lunches and dinner with friends. Extended our stay twice on the trip to stay here over other plans we had, because we were so comfortable. The best all in one home base in all our trips.

the rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. we felt at home immediately. The food at the Garden Restaurant was the best we had our whole Mauritius stay. The staff were all fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely recommend to any fellow travelers heading to Grand Baie.
