We loved our family stay at Mermaid Cove Garden! The apartment is compact but has everything we needed, and the decor is beautifully done. The large pool was a real highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is ideal for discovering the southeast of the island, and it’s only a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Blue Bay beach. Our host Stephane was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent,large, property in a perfect location, only 2 mins walk to the Blue Bay beach. House contains all the items you may need. Terraces and a balcony, and gardens front and rear. My girlfriend and I recently had an amazing 2 weeks stay at Preskil Island Resort and it exceeded all our expectations. The view from our room was stunning overlooking the beach and the lagoon. The room was spacious and in a beautiful open design. And a big thanks to Deepak and his team for making room so welcoming and for arranging a late dinner for us, since we arrived late at night/very early in the morning due the a cancelled flight and the crazy rain fall in Dubai. And a special thank you to Arveslt for decorating our room beautifully with flowers, towel art and the special birthday decor on my birthday. The staff here at Preskil was so kind and helpful in ways we have never experienced before. We unfortunately had lost our luggage due to all the rain chaos in Dubai but Juliana and Nevin from the reception was amazing, they helped us so much by calling the airport and even contacted personal friends that worked at the airport to help us get information - a big thank you for doing all of that for us ❤️ The food at the buffé restaurant Rendez-Vous, run by Patrick and Crew, is amazing both for breakfast, lunch and dinner and let's not forget about the dessert table - just yummy guys. We decided to upgrade to premium for our last 5 days and it was definitely worth the money. We received a free spa treatment that is included in premium and we even added on an extra treatment and it was my first ever spa treatment and I'm now a fan - so we can definitely recommend to go to the Banyan Spa, they are highly professional and the prices for their treatments are very affordable. With premium you can also eat lunch and dinner at the beach restaurant 1810 and wow the food there is so delicious. The staff at 1810 will give you a beautiful dining experience and are very professional and kind - a special thanks to Kooshal and Owen for making every meal at 1810 special for us.

Lovely location, the beaches were picture postcard. People were very friendly, mainly French speaking but English spoken too. It was quiet, very few bars/restaurants/cafes, no convenience type supermarkets and everyone preferred cash with most not having card machines. Too quiet for us really.

The best snorkel spot in Mauritius we have seen. I wish I could stay for 2 days. This is not a top tourist destination but highly recommended for everyone looking for a quite place, relax and explore life under the water

We stayed for a day at the Shandri Beachcomber (bought a day pass) and the snorkeling from their beach was fantastic . Absolute amazing location but I wouldn't stay overnight there. Way too exensive for a dated resort and we weren't impressed by the quality of food and drink (it is an all inclusive resort) but you can't beat the location.

No ATM to draw cash.. most shops only deal with cash. Blue bay has a bus stop that takes 15 minutes to get to Mahebourg from where you can take a bus to any part off the Island. The Blue Bay Beach has absolutely clear and still water making it a wonderful experience just to laze in the Water

We had the privilege of visiting and staying in Blue Bay, and it was an incredible experience. Villa de Alisha holiday house was absolutely fantastic! Each room was equipped with its own bathroom, making it both convenient and private. The house was spacious, well-stocked with all the necessary cutlery and linen, and featured air conditioning in every room—a much-appreciated bonus in the warm climate. The highlight, however, was the indoor swimming pool, which added an extra touch of luxury. The only thing you need to arrange is your own food, as everything else is provided. Conveniently, there’s a shopping mall nearby with a large food court and various other shops. The restaurants in the Blue Bay area were another highlight of our trip. The staff at every venue were incredibly friendly, and there was a wonderful variety of food options to choose from. The Blue Bamboo restaurant, in particular, stood out with its vibrant atmosphere, making it a memorable spot for visitors. The flea market was another standout experience. It’s a pity it’s only held once a week, as there was such an incredible variety of items to choose from. I wish I had known this beforehand—I would have stayed much longer than just an hour! Getting around the island was also very convenient, thanks to the bus services available. Public transportation made exploring the island much easier and more enjoyable. Transportation overall was seamless, thanks to a reliable driver who was just a WhatsApp message away. He promptly picked us up from the airport, took us around the island, and ensured a smooth journey back to the airport at the end of our stay. One of the best parts of our trip was the Catamaran excursion. The crew was absolutely hilarious and kept us entertained throughout, making it an unforgettable adventure. Our time in Blue Bay and at Villa de Alisha was truly magical, and we can’t wait to return!

Good Place to explore from. Local Bus service..good access to Mahebough - nice market- buy a hat😇 Close to Jeremy point where you take a Catamaran cruise ...defnitely worth it!! Close to Cocos jetty where you start your full daytrip to the private Cocos Island for a full day of treats Best place to stay @ Blue Berryl The perfect view of Blue Bay Good Restaurants and snack bars Blue Bay the hidden secret of Mauritius

Lovely little guest house with very accommodating couple. Great place to stay for my first and last nights travel to explore Mauritius only wish i had spent more time there! Steve also transports you to a from the airport for a fair fee. Also located very close to Blue Bay so nothing but positive vibes for the place.

So i had just few minutes to walk to Blue Bay Beach. The apartment is located in an nice neighbourhood. The Owner Jay is a really nice and helpfully person, he give Tips for around and you can contact him any time.
