We stayed at the hotel for 11 days in November 2025. We arrived at 9 AM, were immediately invited to breakfast and treated with genuine care. By 11 AM both of our rooms were ready. The rooms were very good overall; only minor wear was noticeable in the bathrooms. We stayed in ocean-front rooms with terraces, literally the first line from the shore, about 50 meters to the beach. Simply fantastic. No complaints regarding in-room equipment or amenities. The sea is wonderful, the beach is clean, well maintained, and pleasantly calm — no one bothers you. Sunbeds and loungers are plentiful, and outdoor showers are available in multiple spots. The hotel pool is well designed, with both a children’s area and a deeper section for adults. There is also an aquapark with slides, which was a great addition and very well implemented. Food was consistently good. The choice is wide, everything is fresh, and even those with a picky palate will find more than enough. Bars throughout the property are more than sufficient, so refreshments are always within reach. We were departing late in the evening and had to check out at 12. The reception staff offered us another room at no cost so we could stay comfortable until departure. The team at the front desk deserves special mention: attentive, responsive, and professional. You always feel that your needs and requests matter. In short, an excellent stay. We would happily return.

The resort is beautiful, the room is very spacious and the view from it was gorgeous, although we didnt spend too much time there. Staff are very kind and made us feel welcome with great hospitality. The beach was amazing, very blue waters and white sand, very clean and we liked the water activities ( snorkeling at the reef, wakeboard etc). The food was delicious with wide variety of options at Mondo (buffet restaurant - we took the half board option). We also had dinner at the beach Rouge restaurant, where they have mediterranean options. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee at Maison Lux, which is the specialty coffee bar - many thanks to Bilal and Yashveer. The cleanliness of the premises overall, especially in the room, which they cleaned twice a day. We also used the sauna and the gym, which was very well equiped. Overall the perfect place to relax.

I loved the service from the staff the most.

I loved the service from the staff the most. They were smiley, polite, genuinely helpful and represented not only the hotel but also the warmth of Mauritian hospitality. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The restaurants, bars, pools, beach and reception all close to each other. The West side of the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. A perfect place for the spa and massage rooms. The Asian restaurant was a la carte and terrific.The main restaurant had a great selection of food for all tastes. The hotel was perfect for guests who love kite surfing, learners and experienced. The snorkelling trip from the glass bottom boat was outstanding, the best we have seen in Mauritius. Lots of tropical fish, all sorts of colours and the fish were big. RS1,000 very well spent. This is a hotel I will return to for certain.

Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat...

Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

A very nice place to stay right on the beach. Had half board the food was good. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Tours were reasonable priced. Hotel was a very affordable and good value for money.

So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

Tree Lodge provides a special experience - it is located in a very nice garden with a lot of flowers next to a swimming pool. Owners have been very kind and immediately responded to every wish we had. Breakfast was really delicious - fresh fruit, fruit juice, eggs or omelets, toast with butter and jam, etc. Really high quality. Lodge is located close to Belle mare, one of the nicest beaches in Mauritius. Ben (owner) is also an instructor in a Dive center (Dive passion) on Belle mare and it was a great experience to go with him for diving.

The hotel is very well laid out and clean, the staff are all friendly and are always asking if there any issues or anything they can do. The entertainment is there if you want it, but a very chilled relaxing hotel. The beach is just across the road and they provide a drinks cart daily. The Tabaj serving more authentic snacks was great!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The best food you can imagine. Very clean menu and locally sourced products. We felt better than ever with the diet change and relaxation. The rooms are perfect and comfortable. The sustainability efforts of this hotel is admirable and would be great if it could be implemented by all hotels

The beach was lovely, the food options and quality (especially La Spiaggia Restaurant and Bar) were outstanding! We also appreciated the flexibility of the hotel management in giving us a late checkout because we had checked-in quite late on our arrival day. It was just the perfect restful getaway that we were looking for.
