That was a peaceful time in Shanti hotel. The only thing that we couldn’t try was sup-boarding, we were unlucky with coming cyclone. Very clean, spacious, perfect mattress and bed linen. Everything was perfect from the first step, we really want to come back once again. The main restaurant was brilliant with food and service. Breakfast had plenty of delicious food, good coffee and very tasty champagne “Cape Bay” that we even tried to find out later in the supermarkets, but failed ))) To cut a long story short - was absolutely worth to visit Shanti🥰

A fantastic place to stay in South West Mauritius. This is the best holiday we have ever had and a lot of that is due to our wonderful stay here. Staff took very good care of us from the moment we arrived and there were lots more facilities and activities to do than expected! Room was large and comfortable with a great view and the sea nearby. It was easy and simple to plan outtings, the hotel had their own taxi service with fixed prices who would come and get you in minutes after staff put the request in for you. The main restaurant was very good, they did buffet meals for breakfast and dinner and I also enjoyed some meals from the food truck. Staying here felt like a truly luxurious experience and we can't thank the staff enough for all they did for us. It was also fairly quiet and not crowded when we were here which added to the calm and private feel. The stretch of beach at this location did seem nicer than in the neighbouring locations and we got perfect views of the sunset from the beach. It was also nice to stroll through the garden areas, lovely aesthetics throughout the resort.

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was perfect. I liked the ambience of the whole setting, we had a spacious, nicely decorated room in a creol-style building, with shared terrace, kitchen and living room, all set in a large green garden. There is an on site restaurant with great cuisine where you can have lunch and dinner as well if you want. Staff is amazing, everybody is so helpful, open and kind. Special thanks to Deborah who kindly helped us solving an issue (not related to our stay in Kaz'alala). Close to Kaz'alala there are 2 five star hotels on the beach, plus a beach club and a chateu you have access to since all this belongs to the same group.

My wife and son had their best time before school resumes. The level of service is definitely unique in the world i would say as i travel frequently. We were staying at the hotel 2 nights. If we knew that we love it that much, we would choose to stay longer. From the check in moment you feel you are more than welcome here. All the staff members truly think of every detail you may need. We had breakfasts and dinners, which were so perfect, made of fresh products and served very nice. We have read some comments, that there are limited options of food, but this is boutique hotel with unique attitude, there only 11 chalets, and they can't offer buffet with unlimited products, which they will tbrow away later, it's wasteful. So it's more personal when you get what you want from the menu. And how cool is that option that your bed is made for you every evening? :) Oh, forgot to mention that chalet has the same entrance as the Chamarel park, so you enter it for free, just say that you are going to chalet (except sands, they are not included). But! Every time we entered the park we went to see waterfall :) Views are more than stunning, we have never seen more beautiful views than here. Thank you all for making our stay at Chalet unforgetible. Greetings from Latvia.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at KOA and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. The staff at this hotel truly set it apart. It was amazing place to stay ever! Sounds of a jungle,sunset,cozy chalet with all facilities inside! Pool with mountain view❤️ I recommend visiting the dinner-local kitchen is perfect!!! Chamarel warerfalls approx 5 min by car, good road and nice view point on the way. Thanks Andrew for his hospitality,we really had a rest! Hope to come back to your place some day again 😄

There’s not much to do in Bel Ombre except for the hotel...

There’s not much to do in Bel Ombre except for the hotel complex. There are also not really restaurants except those in the hotel complex. You are much better with a car. However the hotel complex is huge with plenty of facilities so you can easily stay at the complex for a few days if you don’t have a car/don’t want to go exploring.

the beach was lovely although a smokers & non smokers area is a nice option i would had prefered ... as i am a non smoker... the cleanliness and location was wonderful & gorgeous ! food options for buffet was good however the room service options ought to have more choice for dietry and enjoyment! entertainment was good and fun... also the water sports option was ideal ! kind welcoming staff who were sweet hosts! thankyou!

Excellent location in an area that boasts greenery and...

Excellent location in an area that boasts greenery and nature at its best. Tamassa Bel Ombre is located next to two golf courses, a natural reserve and barely minutes away from other landmarks in Mauritius (south). Roads are safe - so it's easy to drive around but if you are after a complete relaxing holiday, venturing out of Tamassa is purely an extra then. The resort is fully equipped and offers a great opportunity for swimming, snorkeling, para-kiting in a well protected and clean bay.

I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great...

I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great although we didn't use it. We stayed for 3 nights and that was enough for us to break the city routine of our everyday life. Krishna from the concierge organised a fun day out to Chamarelle where we saw the 7 sand earth, giant turtles and the magnificent waterfall. We ended the day at Curious Corner which the kids (and I loved).

The area is quite simple but with a local character.

The area is quite simple but with a local character. If you are looking for an authentic experience you will like it. We mostly cooked ourselves in the apartment and had dinner twice in a nearby cafe/restaurant. The facilities were simple but the fish dishes exceeded our expectations. You need a car to get around comfortably.

For the Family:

For the Family: My kids had an amazing time in the Activity centre with Kursley and Kingsley playing football ,volleyball and other sports. Bamboo fishing was also another activity which my kids enjoyed a lot. Staff were friendly and very professional. For the Adults: Great selection of restaurants & bars and activities. Wonderful staff.

We really loved this hotel the staff were excellent especially the friendly staff in the spa so helpful and the reception team who allowed us to prolong our stay after checkout. We benefited from a complimentary massage each which was an amazing treat and the spa team were so helpful in enabling this for us despite it being only one night stay. Mauritian night was delicious, the cocktails and bar team were spot on and the location is beautiful will 100% be returning as there is so much more we would love to enjoy from this hotel.

Very beautiful resort, excellent breakfast and a lot of things to do during the day and the evenings (boat with transparent bottom, live music, etc). The personnel are great and really try to make the best for our stay. The taxi service provided to the hotel was convenient for exploring the island and the drivers were kind and correct.

Its a beautiful and elegant hotel, while still being child friendly and relaxed. The choices for food were amazing- and I would definitely get the Gourmet Bliss option which is all inclusive at both Heritage hotels. The Timomo Kids club was also amazing and kept the little one occupied and happy throughout most of the days.
