We were very satisfied with our stay at Casetta Pulis. An interesting feature was the direct entrance to the apartment from the street, which gives the place a unique character. A big advantage of this accommodation is its location, just 7 minutes by car from the airport. If you have a late arrival, this is a huge benefit, as it makes getting to the apartment quick and easy. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious, which we really appreciated, as well as the living room, which is large and connected to the kitchen, creating a comfortable and open space. The apartment was equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, which made our time there much easier. The only thing that could be improved is better ventilation. It was quite humid in the apartment, so more frequent airing or using the air conditioning would help. The apartment is in a great location, within walking distance to the center of Valletta, which is a big advantage for those who want to be close to the city's main attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation.

The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good, coffee machine is available all day. The host Jeffrey is really nice and helpful. Location is ok, close to bus stops from where you can reach Valletta in 15-20 min. Tarxien temple and Half Saflieni Hypogeum are just a short walk away.

I love this place! Everything was very clean. The apartment is spacious, with a huge tarrace with a wonderful view. AC available if you need it. The host is an amazing, very kind man. He explained us everything and shared with us some other stories about the culture, current events. Check in and check out were easy, we did not arrived in usual hours but it was not a problem. The neighborhood is very peaceful in comparison to other bigger cities. You could really feel there local vibe. I really recommend this place!

Tarxien is a town with hardly any dining, food shopping...

Tarxien is a town with hardly any dining, food shopping facilities, but with good direct bus connections to Valletta and Marsaxlokk. It is not touristic and therefore very quiet, but still has buildings in typical old Maltese style here and there, Highlight is the Tarxien neolithic temple, not much visited it would appear, but excellent. (I had the site virtually for myself). A lot of the original finds are now in the Archaeological Museum in Valletta, with the site providing copies and the context. The hypogeum is also not far away.

Great location to be based in for all island.

Great location to be based in for all island. Out of busy Valetta but easy access to Valetta and three cities etc. and uber ok price to north of island, bus back worked well. Check out the best pizza (and Italian food) in Valetta at I PUPI.

close to ancient temples and Hypogeum - so easy to visit. Lots of buses go through Tarxien between Valletta and mainly places to the South. However, the buses proved to be much less frequent than advertised, so hiring a car may be essential.

A mixture of village and town, extremely quiet, almost...

A mixture of village and town, extremely quiet, almost deserted by night ( at least where we stayed), which gives you the possibility of nice walks and sightseeing without being disturbed by noisy crowds. Very well connected to Valletta and other areas, close to the airport. In fact, there are a lot of places around Tarxien where you can get by foot. It gave me the feeling of being stuck in time and I totally adored it and the vibes that not only Tarxien, but entire Malta gives you. I would come back any time - in fact I am already planning a longer trip there. Simply amazing!

We had such a beautiful stay—truly a home away from home! The outdoor area is something special, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet evening. Inside, the bedrooms felt like a boutique hotel—super comfortable, spotless, and stylish. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. Huge thanks to the Zzzing team for the great recommendations—who knew there was so much to do in Malta’s gorgeous south? We’ll definitely be back!

The location of the place is surprisingly good as I did not expect that nice of a place in Tarxien. Really good for a relaxing time as there aren't any distractions. Great for discovering the southern part of Malta. The place is amazingly designed, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. Highlight of the place for me was the environment, how the old contrasts with the new, and having a relaxing hot bath.

decent amount of space, and storage. Comfortable bed. Very convenient for Hypogeum (5 mins walk) and Tarxien Temples (8 minutes walk). I found somewhere to park within 60 metres of the front door each time.
