The hosts of this boutique hotel are very kind and attentive people. Warm welcome, advise you always can count on that. The rooms are designed with the good taste and you can even read some books about Malta, its history. Downstairs there is a very great patisserie with delicious food and pleasing prices. The hotel is located very close to Mdina city, restaurants and the bus stop.

We had a wonderful stay at Verdala Wellness Hotel. The facilities are beautiful, the location is perfect, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. A special thank you to Jafar at the reception, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and went out of his way to help us throughout our stay. Everything was perfect! The room is beautifully decorated and made with style - the whole building is actually, everything is new, the balcony was very cozy, it was quiet during the night, the bed was really comfortable and the location was very convenient. Also, the breakfast was the most delicious breakfast from our travel accommodations ever - fresh and tasty! Mili was really welcoming and helpful - thank you, Mili! We loved our stay!

A beautiful place to stay.

A beautiful place to stay. Full of old Maltese charm and culture. Many restaurants with a special shout to Romans Den where the food and ambiance is amazing. Also within walking distance of Mdina and its rich cultural flavour and horse and carriage rides starting from 35 euro. Access across to other towns and cities is available from the bus terminus where you can purchase a five day travel pass for 20 euro Uber / Bolt are of plenty across the island also.

The buildings are lovely.

The buildings are lovely. There's plenty of places to eat and local sightseeing. The only thing I would comment on is that there aren't any large shops(that we came across, anyway). Lots of small convenience stores and bakeries but only the basics. If you have hired a car or don't mind getting buses to bigger shops then it's a non issue. It wasn't a huge deal anyway, we really enjoyed our stay.

Rabat is a fascinating city.

Rabat is a fascinating city. Make sure you visit Mdina; the catacombs; St Paul’s Grotto; & Domus Romana. Stay at Rabat and it’s an easy walk to the old city of Mdina. It’s lovely to walk around on a balmy summer’s evening - a magical place.

Rabat was a pleasant surprise .

Rabat was a pleasant surprise . It was very pleasant to wander the lanes of the old town , lots of nooks and crannies. Plenty of places to eat and drink , all types , also little shops that you could miss if no time to explore. Locals very friendly and helpful. The place is well serviced by public transport to all other areas of Malta, making it a good place to stay away from the busy crowds of Summer.

A completely different side to Malta from Valletta.

A completely different side to Malta from Valletta. Rabat's main attraction will always be its proximity to Mdina, but there is plenty to enjoy in the town, including some great pastries and restaurants and the fascinating underground shelters and catacombs. It is also the best place to stay to get to Hagar Qim and Dingli. Definitely don't miss Publius Parruccan Confectionery.

There is plenty to occupy your time in Rabat - Mdina for...

There is plenty to occupy your time in Rabat - Mdina for three days. Valletta is only a 30-minute bus journey away where you can continue your sight-seeing. There is a also a direct airport bus to Rabat.

A very beautiful apartment in the historic center of Rabat, in a quiet and pleasant area. All the main sights of Rabat and Mdina are within a short walking distance. The apartment was clean and nice, and we really enjoyed our stay. We definitely recommend it to everyone.

The position is excellent ... just the hotel is in a closed part of Rabat and most of the taxi drivers don't know how to get there ... better to mark the location at St. Paul's Grotto when you try to book one.
