Management made this short stay perfectly enjoyable, with easy-to-understand entry instructions, recommendations on everything and interesting stories about the building's history. The building itself is fascinating with many unexpected features - rooftop sundeck with jacuzzi - subterranean dining room for intimate gatherings. Breakfast was taken in a beautiful small courtyard adjacent to the kitchen. Breakfast was brought in fresh from a local bakery every day - the pastries were absolutely delicious - the coffee made to suit personal taste! The room was large and comprehensively equipped. The shower water flow was responsibly controlled but at a sensible rate. The bed was firm and comfortable - providing two excellent nights sleep. This jewel of a place is an ancient house sympathetically converted to a luxury hotel where guests are cared for with charm and empathy. The room was clean and well furnished. Smell was good inside the room. The door was secure and made to feel safe. There was a piano in the lobby, hope that they’ll find someone to play it in the evenings. Window views were nice. Food quality was good at restaurants, especially chicken soup.
