We absolutely loved it here. The receptionist was so helpful when we arrived early. Suggested a nice walk and arranged for our room to be ready early. We had a delicious lunch in the dining area. Our room was fabulous with a terrace and view over the countryside. The room had all those extra little touches that you don't seem to get since Covid.. Tea and coffee facilities. Fridge ,iron and ironing board, even some weighing scales. Breakfast was also great. It's not a buffet but a plate of meats and cheese served at the table, followed by a menu that should suit most people . Even full English breakfast. Nice swimming pool at the back in the enclosed garden. Highly recommend.

Good position, easy check in and check out, very beautiful room. The shower is large and the air conditioner is powerful. It is in the center, near the bus stop. Every day the cleaner cames. Sabana is very kindly and friendly.

Quaint Butique Hotel was a very nice place the room was very comfortable and clean ! The Staff of the hotel was lovely and always with a smile on their face ! The location is the only downside witch is not that bad because to get to all the facilities parties , restaurants or even cafes you need to take bus and for many of the a boat if they are In Malta but if I had to do it again I would prefer to stay in that hotel than to be closer to all those things !

The villa is just like the photos- the village is peaceful...

The villa is just like the photos- the village is peaceful and you feel like you are in the true Gozo Handy supermarket five minutes walk away Very good reliable bus services If anything goes wrong , Kevin promptly sorts it out We had a lovely relaxing break and relished the luxury of our own private large pool with lots of choices of outside seating

There are ongoing building and property developments in...

There are ongoing building and property developments in Munxar which will change it forever. Some of the developments are predictably hideous but others sensitive to the picturesque bay and surrounding environment. In fairness construction work was halted for the summer which is a good thing. When I took friends there in June it was impossible to sit on the front and enjoy the view without being covered in building dust., I found the kiosks and restaurants away from the immediate 'front line' still very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Munxar [in the summer] continues to be a pleasant place for a short break and well situated for exploring the rest of Gozo. Frontline businesses less 'local in attitude and cuisine. although the food was always quite good.
