Maison Medina exceeded our expectations. Beautiful property with fantastic service. The property was meticulously set up. Bed was very comfortable too. The view of the Mdina from the rooftop terrace was a bonus. Mdina was also just across the street. Anita, who hosted us was outstanding. She made us feel so welcomed.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Hward House exceeded all expectations — elegant design, spotless rooms, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was delicious with fresh local products and great coffee. The location is perfect — peaceful, yet close to everything you might need. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for comfort and style!

Located on a dead end street this new hotel is in Paceville (St Julian) near all the hustle and bustle but also close to the main road which connects St Julian to Valetta. Easy to be accessed and to be departed by car/taxi/foot. In a walking distance there're plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. We were upgraded to a room with balcony which was very clean and comfortable and had a great soundproofing. The king size bed & the pillows were very comfortable for us. The 40" flat smart tv including YouTube & Netflix streamed perfectly. Minifridge, safe, kettle and expresso machine are available in the minibar. There're plenty of plugs (UK type) including USB A and USB C near the bed. Excellent breakfast with a lot of options to choose from. During the day & evenings the breakfast area becomes Jumu restaurant which we definitely recommend especially in case you arrive late for check-in (good selection of Maltese and international vines and excellent service). Indoor spa area was very clean and well maintained includes a finish sauna, a 4 persons jacuzzi and a ~15 m/5 m indoor heated pool which is opened round the clock. A decent sized gym is also available in the same spa dedicated area. On the rooftop there's a second ~20m/7 m pool also heated with a great view over St Julian's downtown. The parking available in hotel's underground was great to leave our rented car since since around the hotel the parking places are limited.

We were filled with positive reviews from other visitors, according to which I chose this hotel. A nice surprise was that we could choose the type of pillow, I personally prefer a soft one, which I received within a few minutes of reporting to the reception. We received a prompt response from the staff even when we reported that the toilet flush was broken and it was repaired within 30 minutes. Excellent services.

The staff were outstanding - the degree of personalized customer service was exceptional! The hotel in general and the room was impeccably clean, quiet, friendly and welcoming. The amenities were first class, from the pools, gym, lounge, bathrobes, etc, and all provided for a complete and comfortable stay. The location was perfect, quiet, with a view, easy access to cafes, restaurants, bus stops, shopping, etc. I have already recommended this hotel to many friends and would definitely stay here again in the future!

We were very pleased with our stay at this lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Sliema, minutes away from Tigne Point and the promenade. I must mention that the room was super, it had a kitchenette with microwave, kettle and fridge, the shower was really comfortable with great water pressure and everything was really clean which is one of the most important factors for me. In the evening we went to a really good restaurant nearby and just 5 minutes away by walk. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning and on the whole I believe that the stay was very good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if they are looking for a relaxing experience close to restaurants and shops.

Such a beautiful city with amazing buildings within the...

Such a beautiful city with amazing buildings within the medieval old capitol. It's busy with tourists during the day and would highly recommend returning in the evening when it's so eerily quiet, but amazing. We ate in a rooftop restaurant, The Knights Kitchen so we could see the amazing sunset over Mdina. There are horse and carts to take you around, but we walked and enjoyed the tiny alleyways. Stunning city

We visited on a Sunday which felt very special.

We visited on a Sunday which felt very special. We were able to wander round and barely see anyone else, truly a step back in time. We ate at Coogis in the evening , which was delicious and thoroughly recommend. A treat to visit the town when so quiet

A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within...

A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within the walls of the city for the nighttime experience. It became the silent city. not a lot to see, but what is there was interesting. Rabat is literally a short walk across a pedestrian friendly bridge with lots of activity. Certainly Mdina is worth a visit.

To coming out into the maze of mdina to help me locate their hotel, allowing early check-in and just being friendly and welcoming made the start of my holiday experience wonderful and stress free. A classy, well loved hotel with special welcome gifts, a big bowl of fruit and a delicious bottle of wine, added to their appeal as the front runners of 5 star accommodation in Mdina. A truly unique hotel.

Perfect location to reach by bus or taxi and you couldnt ask for a better spot to be to visit Mdina's old city and surrounds. Whilst only booked for 1 night the friendly owner and host Mariella was very helpful and accommodating. Great continental breakfast and outstanding terrace to chill out on before we had to leave. Boutique style hotel exudes class and sophistication.

What an amazing place. Anita gave us the best welcome. Bought tears to my eyes. The room and roof terraces were beautiful. Breakfast was amazing and it is the best location. It is located very near the gate to Medina with bars and restaurants nearby but still very quiet. I wouldn't look to go anywhere else if I go back to Rabat

Great location, right in the enter of the old city of Mdina. the house was very spacious with had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. A full sized refrigerator was definitely a plus.
