Food was fantastic, spa treatments were Very good, pool and connected large hot tub were great! Best to go early or late to avoid the kids. Some local hiking was lovely and the hotel staff can help direct you where to go.

Very clean room and delicious breakfast delivered to my room. I requested an airport transfer and the manager, Anar, kindly picked me up and also arranged a wonderful 1-day tour the next day. Everything was smooth and memorable. Highly recommended!

This is the oldest 5 star hotel in Mongolia, historic venue beautifully renovated. Reception staff, house keeping staff and restaurant staff are all welcoming and very professional. Reception staff helped us book taxi to visit the city and go to the airport. The room as clean and comfortable. Totally recommended their Landmark Restaurant at the 1st floor. Main touristic locations can be reached by taxi whereas the city's square is just a 5min walk from the hotel.

I really like walking around the central area.

I really like walking around the central area. The new Chinggis Khaan Museum was fabulous. For shopping and souvenirs, the State Department Store was great. I enjoyed eating in Pepper Lunch which was attached to the State Department Store. Mongolian cashmere is excellent quality and the Gobi store has a great selection. I also bought cashmere at Evseg. There are lovely coffee shops everywhere.

The city is very interesting, surprisingly well-equipped...

The city is very interesting, surprisingly well-equipped with shops and eateries, and functional services. There are old quarters with gerts and wooden challets, a modernized center, and very modern districts like those in Seoul or Tokyo. The problems are heavy traffic and the lower quality of public spaces. It is not a city for collectors of the stamps from historical monuments, but a city with a number of specifics and pleasant surprises.

Lots to do in the city, and a must is a 2-3 day trip outside of the city. However, we are all experienced travellers and 2 out of 3 of us were pickpocketed for the first time in anywhere we've visited - they're experts! BEWARE PICKPOCKETS!

Had to stay on gear as organising a tour. But 4 days would be enough. Nice enough city. Shopping malls ok, some rather funny with layout. Good coffeee and cafes. Lots of statues to look at. Genghis Khan statue worth a visit. Eagle holding amazing. Had a go at archery. Visit to turtle rock ok, not a difficult climb. Nice trek up to the monastery .

Ulaanbatar hotel is a nice hotel with an authentic Mongol atmosphere. The staff is very forthcoming, the rooms are comfortable and clean and it is well located in one of the nicer districts of Ulaanbaatar. At check out the promised breakfast box wasn't there and it made me nervous that my room needed to be checked by the staff before I was let "off the hook" while I had to leave in order to catch my plane.

The city gets a bad rap for being congested and full of...

The city gets a bad rap for being congested and full of traffic. I felt that it is good to stay at least a couple of nights to see the National Museum, the Changgis Khan Museum and visit some of the parks. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to see everything.

The facility was absolutely perfect. We were quickly picked up from the airport and settled into our room. The kitchen and bedroom areas were very clean. Also, everything was fully stocked in the shower. The room was warm enough. Their staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and they met our few requests immediately. We stayed for 1 night, but if we tour Mongolia, we will definitely stay here. Thank you very much everyone.

I had a wonderful stay here! The owner was incredibly kind and even arranged a taxi for us to get to the airport. The price was very reasonable, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything felt welcoming and comfortable. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mongolia!

Fantastic location, 2 min away from sukhbaatar square. Coffee shop, pub and mongolian restaurant right below the hotel. Select the suite for a large room and toilet- my advice, as the twin sharing can be quite cramped.
