Baibolat, the owner/manager, is amazing. Friendly, professional, engaging and speaks excellent English. He managed to find me an incredible tour with Kengy who took me all over to see famous eagle hunters, viewpoints, and was equally enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Room was comfortable, clean, shower was hot, family were hospitable and welcoming even if their English wasn't as polished as Baibolat's. Location is good too. Only a 15 min walk from bus station and 10 min to center square (it's right in the middle of both).

The hosts were super helpful and friendly. Picked us up from the airport and came over to help with any questions we had. 2 singles in one room and a double in another bedroom. Half decent supermarket ~100m away. Lots of food options within 5 minute walk. The hosts also organise tours.

The family who host this hostel are so lovely and so very helpful, they helped us organise a stay with an eagle hunter family which was incredible. They were also very accomodating and let us stay an extra night when I was sick. It’s super clean and the breakfast is incredible too - highly recommend!
