Close to the Nosy be airport. The view is spectacular and private. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. I loved the bungalow very much and I had a great view from my window. Manager was very helpful with explaining how to get to where I needed to go and arranged a boat that was wonderful for me. Everything was lovely, clean and nice.

This is a wonderful hotel with a school in it and a young, polite, friendly, English-speaking staff. They were super nice, the view was gorgeous and they came an hour before every meal to let me know what they would be serving. I was ill after a week in Madagascar and this was a great place to end my time. There was a chido cyclone at last day, which they warned me about and were super helpful. I will remember this place very fondly and will definitely recommend it. I hope to return one day and see more of it.

The breakfast was terrific. The fruit juice was fresh daily. We enjoyed the extra eggs. The nutella crepes were the best. The staff were just very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and the fans were very helpful in dealing with the heat. The bed nets were of great quality and kept the mosquitoes away. The pool was spotless. The shuttle to and from the airport was very timely and professional. I would highly recommend this quiet beach and this wonderful resort.

This is one of the loveliest hotels we have ever stayed in - we were fortunate enough to have the whole place to ourselves, which really added to the magic and tranquility. Gerard, the GM, was very attentive but not over bearing. We didn’t realise quite how in Lokobe Nature Reserve it was. We saw a sportive lemur on our first night in the hotel grounds and the common black lemur the next day. Completely wild; not fed by the staff. The infinity pool over looking the jungle/sea is so special. The hotel felt wild and in nature but at the same time super clean and welcoming. The food was delicious, one or two options only but every meal we had was delicious and very good value. Simple breakfast but was enough for us. Really just a fantastic stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Probably the best place we stayed during our 3 weeks in Madagascar. Great room on 1. floor with aircon, fan, safe, beautiful view of the sea, perfect balcony. Nice pool. The restaurant has good food, but there are also a few other options along the beach. Wifi comes and goes. Like in most (all?) hotels on Nosy Be, the aircon is run on the island's el supply, not the generator, so it doesn't work all the time.

Located near Djamandjara on Nosy Be, Hotel Mahita Tsara is a 5-minute walk from the beach and set above the village of Cocotiers. It offers air conditioning and a restaurant.

A comfortable king size bed flat screen tv airco and a huge terrace with a wonderful view sunset !room service with a smile! Before arrival Valerie the owner assisted us with all our transfers ensuring everything ran smoothly. Upon arrival our bags were carried up for us and we were greeted with warm smiles and deliciously cold welcome drinks. Treated like rock stars. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our bed was beautifully decorated with flowers and a heart shaped towel for our honeymoon. There were even hot showers (not that you need them) but after a week of cold showers it was very pleasant. The food was amazing and overall very good value for money. The Happy Komba team went above and beyond for us. I see why Valerie named it Happy Komba lodge as the staff are all very happy with big smiles always. We will definitely be back.
