the host and the staff was kind, welcoming, and tried to be as helpful as possible. the room was clean and well lighted. the view from the window was amazing we could see the mountain side. it is located 5 min drive from the Crno Jezero. coffee was available all day and breakfast was very good.

Everything was perfect! Thank you so much for your hospitality! Very cozy little houses, just like on Pinterest. Every detail is thought out. Usually this type of accommodation is very compact, but these houses are spacious and have enough space. The hostess lit the stove for us. I was worried that the stove would stop burning at night and it would get cold, but that didn't happen. The houses are well built and the heat is retained perfectly. There are also electric fireplaces, if it suddenly gets chilly. The houses are very atmospheric and the views are simply stunning!

Zabljak a good place for outdoor pursuits and Monte Pine Chalets very nice to return to. For dog walkers not enough woodland walks without getting into a car. Also not many nice walks in the immediate vicinity of the chalet. Zabljak very unfinished as a town. Roads up everywhere. Good family run restaurants. Reasonable Voli for provisions.

Amazing nature, amazing view, ideal for all those eager to...

Amazing nature, amazing view, ideal for all those eager to put their legs to work and explore Zabljak's amazing surrounding on foot, walk through its forests and fields, enjoy mountain tops bathed in setting sun. It is also nice for those who like a bit of history as there are ancient tombstones scattered all over, with monuments witnessing struggling past of the area. Local authorities often organise festivals and artistic evenings at Crno Lake. The food is amazing and is pleasing for those who enjoy a good bite. There is simply no downsides to it.

Quite town in a beautiful area amid a forest and bellow an impressive Mt ( Durmitor ). Many restaurants but also quite a few fast food businesses. Parking at the centre of the town is not free and expensive ( 3€/hr ) however paying for it is easy through sms. However from 21.00 to 07.00 is free. It is totally unacceptable for the municipality to charge the same at the parking lot near Black Lake which is also a hiking starting point to the mountain ( if someone parks there and hikes for 10h he should pay 30€ ! ). We didn' t have more days to enjoy Zabljak and Tara Canyon which is situated 25m drive to the North, we only visited Zabljak for a full mountaineering day in Durmitor Mt and stayed for two nights with minimum spare time at the town.

A small and picturesque town with stunning mountain views.

A small and picturesque town with stunning mountain views. It’s located close to Durmitor National Park and the Black Lake, just a few minutes' drive away. Unfortunately, the service in restaurants and shops was often not very friendly toward tourists, which is something that could be improved. Other than that, it’s a beautiful place.

Žabljak is a great starting point to see all the beauties that National Park Durmitor has to offer. With its fantastic scenery, great woods, lakes, pastures and view points it exceeded all our expectations. Each picture that we took is like a postcard. I strongly recommend visiting this picturesque mountain. Top spots to visit - The Black lake; Tara river canyon; Savin kuk (cable car available). At every mayor view point there is a restaraunt if you don't want to bring your food with you

If you are interested into hiking or riding a bike (mountain or road) Zabljak is a great place. From there you can easily reach many peaks that Durmitor offers. The city provides everything you need (restaurants, bars, grocery shops) and yet it is peaceful in the night. I have been there for 3 times and it seems like I haven't seen the half of the things.

Durmitor is amassing location! Mountain peaks and views are stunning. Very clean and new rooms. Very good breakfast and very good restaurant (Zlatni bor) in the basement. Close to the center of Zabljak, and to Black lake, destination for extremely pleasant walk all around the lake (5 minutes by car). Also close to cable car that leads to one one of the peeks - Bobotov kuk, offering stunning view and experience.

The view from the shared kitchen/lounge area was spectacular. There was a restaurant at the ski centre which was good, and a taxi to Zabljak costs €3-5 or is a 45min or so walk. The host was very contactable via booking.com and also by whatsapp and helped organise taxis for us. Great proximity to the durmitor mountains and we came here for hiking which didn't disappoint!

We absolutely loved staying in this cabin near Zabljak, the perfect place to stay near Durmitor. It was beautifully finished and decorated, with lovely views from the windows, we really enjoyed just relaxing here. A great location as we could walk into Zabljak and we could walk to the Black Lake through the forest. Mili was very responsive which was great.

Very charming place and very nice and helpful hosts. They prepared pancakes for kids for dinner or cake the next day completely on their own. Location a few minutes from Žabljak, peace and quiet. Perfect for visiting DURMITOR area. I recommend trying breakfasts and dinners prepared with local products - delicious.

Lovely cottage near Zabljak. The owner was extremely friendly, and the cottage was perfectly clean. We had our breakfast on the sunny porch, and our children loved the swing. It's a great place as a base for exploring the Durmitor national park and the Tara canyon.
