excellent non-stop kitchen, they prepared a hamburger even at 2 AM, that was great.

Very nice view as it is on the top floor of the building
The host was very nice, waited for us with the keys as we arrived in the evening, and answered any of our questions

The owner is a wonderful woman,very nice with us,responsive and always available to give interesting tips and help when needed!
The location is also very nice,at aprox. 10 min walk from the centre of Tiraspol and to an amazing restaurant called"Сново СССР".
In the house we also found some tourist information,and therefore could book a great tour with the guide Anton!
We loved Old Tiraspol Hostel!

This fantastic place is perfect for a weekend.
This fantastic place is perfect for a weekend. It has its own special charm, but while it is famous for being 'Soviet', I didn't really see it there. Yes, they have a statue to Lenin, but there are some other places in Moldova that have them too :) The city is walkable, though the local transport is pretty cheap: 3 roubles or 0,18 EUR. I love their parks, there was sakura blooming in their dendropark and they planted tulips there, so it was wonderful. The city center with fancy buildings and monuments is pretty picturesque. The food is as varied as you can imagine: I personally can recommend Toscana, Back in the USSR and the House of Bakery.

Highly recommended. If you have only 1 night in Moldova, go and stay in Tiraspol and explore Transnistria, a country that doesn't exist. I was amazed by how clean, big and modern the city is. Communist feeling from city. Unbelievable and interresting "time-travelling" to back. My country was like that before 1989. One of best experiences ever. I have never had feeling from country like from Transnistria. Absolutely unique ! 1 day for Tiraspol is enough but maybe i will come next time with permit for 48 hours (they are giving 24 or 48 hour permit) and visit some villages :) If you visit, go eat to Kumanek for unique traditional food experience !matejpeluhaSlovakia - 10Scored 10

Use taxi services, its cheap and fast. I will definitely recommend to get a cheap mobile phone that works in Pridnestrovie, you can buy a cheap phone for approx 25 dollars at a any service point (not a smartphone).MarinaDenmark - 10Scored 10
Nice and clean city.
Nice and clean city. We stayed two days, three nights which is exact good time to spend there. Don't forget to see Bendery Fortress and make a photo with the large Lenin statue in front of the parlement building and have lunch at the Soviet cafe in Bender. If you travel with small kids (what we did), I think a rental car is a must to get around. (we rented one in Chisinau for a week)Kees-JanNetherlands

Here is the heart of the sacred republic , and like every heart it is full of life and movement. The view and the room were amazing and the food in the restaurant was much better than anything you can find in Moldova. It is located in the middle of town , right next the outstanding monuments . The service was great , the security was guarding my car. I have been there just one night and it was like a dream , and I do not want to wake up.

That evening was a big event and the average waiting time for a taxi was around 1 hour. At the same time it was raining so we cound not wait and finally even were not charged for the ride. We overslept our breakfast but were served in our room, which was even better. During a day we were treated with tea with a lemon and also for free. The bed and the couch are really comfortable. (The couch in the apartment is the bigger one) It also has everything you need. The balcony has as was mentioned before an amazing view. And everything was absolutely clean (and I have quite high standards there). So I can only fully recommend this apartment.
