This was one of the most charming places I have stayed!! It's a small cottage in the middle of a beautiful garden with apple trees, grape vines, flowers, vegetable garden in the back, and the sound of the rooster waking us up in the morning. It was just what the weary traveler needs - a little piece of home. We were welcomed with homemade wine and had a wonderful, homemade breakfast the following morning. Vitalie is the owner and treats everyone like a special guest. The cottage/farmhouse is safe, clean, local, charming, and simply peaceful. The bathrooms were clean and the water was hot. The rooms were spacious and were evident that they were part of a home - not just an empty hotel room waiting for the next guest. The beds were comfortable and the patio area was perfect for resting and enjoying the garden. They offered a ride to the winery for a small charge, with the car waiting for us when we finished to bring us back. They offered a ride to the airport the following day which is about a 20 minute drive through the beautiful countryside. The location, the owners, and the overall experience was phenomenal. We were some of the first guests to book on the booking.com website and I was unsure what I was getting without reviews. I'm glad I took that chance (although the hotel in the city was insisting I come back to Chisinau after the wine tour). I'm so glad I found this place and the photos on the site don't lie. You get what you see!

High standard throughout the hotel. The hotel owner was very hospitable, adapting the menu to suit both a vegan and vegetarian. The hotel was very clean. Great pool. The location in beautiful and very quiet.

Nice place to stay for a night.

It is a beautiful, traditional village house in a small village of Selemet. Everything in the house was beautiful and traditional. Had everything you need in a home. If you want to experience a quite village life, that’s the place you want to chill out few days. I didn’t have my own transport but was able to go to other villages and towns by public buses. The host is a young woman who speaks perfect English and was very caring and kind. The meals they served was all home cooked. The village had a small museum which was very nice.
