We had a fantastic stay at Grand Canyon Lodge. What a warm welcome in this new and comfortable lodge. The Lodge is really very comfortabel, with traditional interior, a lot of space, nice roofterras overlooking the oase. All brandnew and you really feel at home. The full breakfast was excellent, also the dinner in the nice restaurant. The 9 rooms are big and comfortable and well equipped. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. We thank the staff for this pleasant stay. We can recommend this accommodation to everybody. You will be impressed.

If I could give 11 out of 10, I would. Best price-value rating ever. Don't expect a 5 star hotel of course, but you will get an authentic Berber experience, like if you live there. The place is run by the whole family, such amazing people, from the owner and his wife to all their kids always smiling and willing to help. The outstanding food, the real Berber way, will amaze you! The place is marvelous, climbing on the rock over the river oasi, with a great view on the valley. Very clean!

Everything, the place is beautiful and Mimoun gave us a very warm welcome explaining us quite a bit of Moroccan history and culture. The food was also amazing and everything was done with such a great eye for detail the decoration, the way the food was presented. Couldn't recommend more.

Everything was more than expected and just amazing! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Dades there is no need to look further. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, they speak so many languages. The food is just heavenly. The view from the balcony and the terrace are lovely and you can easily walk 10 m and you’re already in the valley behind the house.

The host, Houssaine, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable—always ready with a smile, helpful advice, and local tips that made all the difference. Whether it was organizing transportation, recommending hidden gems to visit, or simply offering us tea after a long day, their kindness and attention to detail truly stood out. The riad itself is beautiful—peaceful, clean, and full of charm, with traditional touches that give it a warm and authentic feel. Each morning started with a delicious breakfast on the terrace, and every evening felt like coming home. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this place to anyone looking for a special experience. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable! La Fibule is a lovely and cozy riad nestled in the heart of the Dades Valley — a true gem surrounded by stunning scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and generosity. Despite our very late arrival after a long journey, Houssaine, the host, greeted us with a big smile and genuine kindness. He even offered us food without hesitation, which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. The next morning, he took the time to help us plan our route to Merzouga, offering insightful tips that made our trip smoother and more enjoyable. His hospitality, local knowledge, and sincere care for guests truly made our stay unforgettable. If you're traveling through this part of Morocco, we highly recommend staying at La Fibule — not only for the comfort and charm of the riad itself, but for the exceptional hospitality that makes you feel right at home.

Stayed in 6 different hotels on a 10 day road trip in Morocco and Riad Rihana was by far the best on every level. All staff working at the hotel were fantastic, genuinely welcoming and friendly. We felt completely at home and nothing was too much bother, everything done with smiles and laughs. Big shout out to Zachary who took us on a guided walk up the gorge which we loved. Zachary was funny, friendly, considerate and very informative about the area and history of the Berber people. He also built a small fire and brewed up some delicious thyme tea, our favourite tea of the trip. When we returned from our hike another lovely member of staff (sorry, forgotten your name!) brought delicious chilled juice to our room, so kind and thoughtful! The decor was fresh, new in a pleasant rustic style. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable with an amazing view from the balcony. The restaurant was very cosy and there is also a lovely terrace to eat outside with those fantastic views. The food was delicious and the breakfast was the best of all we had on our 10 day trip. Nice wine and beer served in restaurant or to your room. Loved the Dades Valley area and Riad Rihana is perfectly located to explore it. Will definitely be staying here again!

The owner and his family went out of their way to give our...

The owner and his family went out of their way to give our family an excellent stay. The fact that it's also off the beaten track is also a big plus. We came in late, and the owner, who turned out to be an amazing cook made us an amazing dinner. We even got invited into the kitchen to learn more about certain dishes. The next morning we enjoyed a Berber style breakfast and were sent off with some pancakes for on the road.
