Amazing, modern cabins, tastefully decorated and provided with everything you would need for a short stay. Plenty of space for 2 kids and 2 dogs. The site is beautiful and walks in the forest start from the front door. There is a hot tub but we did not use it as we were out exploring Sigulda and the national park. You need a car to get to the location and to get out and about, but equally if you want a quiet sanctuary, you can just chill in the cabin and the grounds. The parking bays are right by the cabin and there is a BBQ available for use. We will be back.

The place was very beautiful, a house on top of a hill with a view of the river, like a fairy tale. Everything was clean and well maintained. Perfect for a family vacation. An added bonus is the cold water barrel inside the terrace, where it's nice to jump into after a great hot sauna. You can't see it in the pictures, not to be confused with a hot tub. We all loved this place, thank you :)

Liked that it was well isolated from people. amazing place to relax with close people and enjoy the evenings. Enjoyed the old style of the building, made it really cozy. Sauna felt good and was amazing. Sauna isn't dry and is well balanced with humidity.

Nice clean room - always a good start! The beds were comfy and we had the option of an additional bed if required. Heating and air conditioner in room which was good as we needed the heating when the weather got cold. There was a TV on the wall with Wi-Fi and some on demand services which I didn’t personally use. There was a desk in the room too which was useful and a kettle, mugs, wine glasses and a mini bar so everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff both at reception and in the restaurant. They helped me book an extra night and spoke perfect English so it was very easy. Nice breakfast provided, mix of hot and cold foods, salads, cereals, pastries and drinks. Choices of food changed a little bit daily so nice to have some variety. Lobby area was clean and nice with nice clean toilets and a small area for children to play. Lovely restaurant with nice food at reasonable prices and some beautiful heaters. Outside area was immaculate with a nice children’s playground and lovely walks. On the shores of a beautiful lake with a small beach - sadly we came when it wasn’t warm enough to swim but I bet it’s fantastic in summer! I shall definitely return on my next trip to Latvia.
