The house has been renovated with great respect to its traditional character. There is an old wooden floor, beautiful windows and a lot of natural wood inside. Reader’s corner with armchairs and standard lamp is absolutely extraordinary. Kitchen equipment is perfect with a lot of nice cups and different sorts of glasses. Spring matress on the bed, which is always better than a foam one.

Beautiful, picturesque place.

Beautiful, picturesque place. Stunning nature, forest parks, nature trails. We visit the Lygatnes rocks and the Lygatnes nature trail. It is a pity that the tourist information center was not open. I was hoping that they would advise me on more attractions.

It's like Latvian Twin Peaks.

It's like Latvian Twin Peaks. Take your time to wander around, up and down, all these wooden pathways and roads. I especially like to walk in Līgatne during the dark hours. Very mystic and inspirational.

The cottage is simply beautiful inside and outside. Located on top of a hill in a lovely settlement of similar cottages it boasts a gorgeous garden and a very cosy interior. Furthermore you can embark on scenic walks around Ligatne directly from the cottage. The quaint towns of Sigulda and Cēsis are not far away and there a many stunning hikes to choose from in the Gauja NP. We enjoyed returning to the cottage in the evening and to relax under the apple tree - we can highly recommend this accommodation.

Really kind and responsive hosts, tasty breakfast, quietness, located next to the pine forest. We stayed in Plavas Apartments and it was possible to sit outside on the patio and watch sunset. The hotel also has a cosy library with plenty of books, TV and a piano in it. Added value was an opportunity to try Tīklu parks attraction free of charge.

A very cool hotel with a great vibe, installed in an old helmet factory, tasteful industrial design, comfortable rooms, quiet at night, good breakfast (several porridge and omlet options, etc), lots of things to explore around. We booked for one night, and stayed for another one and we will be back.
