I wanted a comfortable countryside house with a character, and it was exactly that. Charming house and very friendly host made our stay such a lovely experience. Bedding was great and plenty of it too. Sauna and hot tub were amazing, especially under the brightest starry sky.

Gulbene was a stopover for us on a longer trip. But you have to take into account that except for the grocery store and a frying pan in the apartment -:), there will be no other places to eat nearby (at least on a holiday), everything must be in your own equipment! We are counting on that, so everything is OK

I really enjoyed my stay in Gulbene.

I really enjoyed my stay in Gulbene. Easy to communicate with the hosts. Neither arrogant nor proud. The city festival was well thought out and the music was not deafening. Perhaps more swans, made in various ways (including from flowers), were needed.

There are many parks in Gulbene.

There are many parks in Gulbene. It is interesting to go on an excursion by electric train. The museum at the railway station is interesting, unfortunately many exhibits have already broken. "Gardums" has good cakes, but very expensive. Flora Magnolija is a place where you can eat quickly and relatively cheaply, but not very tasty. Street repairs are disturbing.

We were on a business trip.

We were on a business trip. We organized everything quickly and efficiently. There was little we could enjoy in the city's cultural life - the museum was closed, only an exhibition of paintings was available for viewing in the culture house. That was not enough. We visited the recommended places to visit, we really liked the outdoor gyms, children's playground, beautifully decorated outdoor space for the national holiday in Gulbīšu Park.

We only had one night at this hotel - we checked in, went to...

We only had one night at this hotel - we checked in, went to Stāmeriene Castle, because there was a concert of the band Carneval You there in the evening, after the concert we returned to Gulbene, spent the night and went to Alūksne in the morning. This hotel is a very good option for traveling around Latvia. Ārija

The apartament is good enough for overnight stay. As this is single unit in residential building, there are no other guests or activities. The place is quiet during the night (although it is located in city centre) which is of utmost importance for me. Breakfast is available in the bistro (from 10) accross the street. Parking in front of Gulbene hotel also across the street..

There was no breakfast but a bakery right next door. Staff was extremly helpful and polite and also ordered us a taxi. Hotel was nice and clean and rooms were large. Spacious and safe parking lot at backyard.
