Palanga is Lithuania’s busiest seaside resort and is located on the Baltic Sea. However, it comes with a seasonal personality due to it being a peaceful paradise during winter before transforming into a dynamic party town in summer.
The town offers great sightseeing around the quiet forested sand dunes of Birutė Hill, the stretch of sandy beaches and the Palangas Botanical Garden that features the old Tiškevičiai Palace, home to the Amber Museum.
Palanga is forever reforming; this is evident in the lively heart of the city Basanavičiaus gatvė, a pedestrian street with a mix of traditional wooden and red-brick houses and contemporary shops, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
In summer be sure to check-out the list of events at the Open-Air Concert Hall, whilst Basanavičiaus gatvė Pier is a perfect starting point for a stroll or a cycle before seeing the sunset from the pier.
Booking.com offers a wide range of hotels and apartments in the heart of Palanga, Klaipėda, Šventoji and throughout Lithuania. Palanga Airport offers direct flights to Riga, Oslo, Moscow, and Copenhagen.

This was 4th or 5th time we have stayed at that place (Vila Saule). We like this location between Botanical Garden and Basanavičiaus (pedestrian) street, as it's very centered and takes just a few minutes to walk to the sea. The location is quiet and peaceful, but with all the nicest cafes and the most necessary shops right here. We have stayed in many different rooms (usually for 3 persons) on different occasions, and they were always super clean and had all the necessary equipment. The hosts are kind and helpful, so if you need any additional amenities, just ask them. Free parking is convenient. We look forward to coming here next year.

It's a very touristy, chic town with an amazing, miles long sand beach as well as an entertainment oriented city center.
If you're looking for a genuine picture of people living their live or want to connect with nature, this is not the town to visit.
But if you're looking to be entertained, party or relax on one of the nicest, cleanest beaches on the Baltic sea with all the amenities one could hope for, then Palanga has you covered.

Beautiful Baltic seaside resort city.
Beautiful Baltic seaside resort city. Town center is very cosy, compact and walkable. Lots of small shops and restaurants on the way to the beach. Great coniferous forest park area with walking trails along the seaside. Sandy beach is clean and can be accessed from all parts of the city. The pier and observation wheel definitely worth visiting. Not far away from the Dutchman's hat, but it worth taking the car or bike. Crowdy in the summer and peaceful throughout the rest of the year.

i have been going to palanga for 16 years there as not been much don to inferstukcher it lacks railway statin pavments are full of holes dont know what they spend pillow tax on .the main street to beach has not changed in 16 years . i would not eat food on that street as the cooks are not chefs . i would go to hotel to eat its ok for a drink in the many bars on that street . i wold not go in the summer as you want get on the beach . and another think its cheaper to go to spain as wee do but after september its ok .mots of the hotels are very tide now as they do not replace the old furnishings with new. as i have trid most of the hotels over the 16 years as my partner is lithuanian and i fly from uk evry mouth as she works ther and me in uk.
Beautifull and clean room and bathroom. A bottle of water as welcome present + sweets as for returned guests. Small but very nice moments. It was my husband’s birthday, so he have got small cake with candle into our room. Is it not cute? of course it is.
It was wonderful to spend an hour in spa and it was for free. Hotel has his own parking place. Restaurant has deliciuos breakfast and all day menu, on weekends live perfomances as well.
All stuff were very polite and friendly
Perfect location for a peaceful stay in Palanga - remote enough to avoid overcrowded beaches, but only 4 euros worth of Bolt ride to the center. Our stay was delightful - bright, spacious and spotless bedroom and bathroom with all the necessary amenities - the shared kitchen was ready with any utensil and dishware you could need. Keep note, that you have to bring your own shower gel/shampoo. Already waiting for the next time to visit here!
Location in a very pleasant and quiet place, in the heart of the conifer park and in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Breakfast was excellent, served in a beautiful atmosphere, the staff is very kind and friendly. Very clean room and bed linen. Nice and friendly staff. The terrace adjacent to the room was spacious and beautifully equipped for relaxation (table, chairs, swing...). We will definitely come back.
What a strange, wonderful place. Only in Lithuania (or Eastern Europe) will you find such a combination of features; fine dining restaurant (world class),historical building, boutique hotel, rooftop cocktail bar w/live music. Location very interesting; close to all the action; promenade, beach, pier, bicycle trail, yet separate from everything, standing alone.
Wonderful location. Property was new so everything was clean and fresh. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed having a small balcony and refrigerator. Robes, slippers, tea, beach blanket, etc were provided. Parking space included. Loved having a market and restaurant choices next to the property.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!
Great location. Right in front of a pine forest then opens to the beach traditional Lithuania summer house. Less then 10 minutes walking distance from the central and pier. Safe and free car parking is provided. Friendly family run business. We really enjoyed our stay with our 18 months old, everything was so close to the property.
Great central location. Minutes from the beach. The apartment was VERY spacious, even bigger than it looked in the pictures. Also very stylish and comfortable. The robot vacuum was an unexpected help. When we booked, the listing said there was no Internet access, but there was actually a very fast WiFi connection available.
Cozy and cute apartment. This is not a flat or part of the house. Looks like host built some garage and then reconstructed it into “hotel”. But all facilities are good, enough space, cozy balcony.
Very good location. Close to the forest and to the main pedestrian street. 5 minutes to the beach.
Location is great, its close to the beach, main street and good restaurants, but not noisy at all. Appartment is nice. Free parking space, clean room and bathroom. Found everything you might need in kitchen, enough for family (we were with 8month old baby). Loved the front yard.
Excellent location - close to the beach, next to the park, close to the main streets, restaurants, quiet , rooms are comfortable, lots of space. Front desk was really professional, very nice , helpful. Stayed second time there and willing to come back. Definitely will recommend.
The interior, exterior, household appliances, furniture - new and stylish, everything is nicely done. Comfortable beds, good Nespresso coffee machine. Bathrobes and slippers. Parking space for a car. Great location, close to beach and city center.
We liked location very much. rimi, lidl near by also distance to beach some 10 minutes or so... Neigbours mostly older people or families (no party's) whitch was good. My favorite place in appartment was undoubtely the balcony - view, much space.
Good location and value for the money. Very good breakfast! Clean and spacious rooms! Large balconies. But no parking lots, before you arrive check parking opportunities. Hotel provided contacts of private parking nearby for 10€ per 24 hours
Great place to stay. Short walking distance from the beach. The territory is gated, and it has a dedicated parking space. Great place for those who are looking to have a calm rest, especially with a family.
The location is close to the beach by walk. Room with balcony was the best choice. There is also plenty of parking space and the house has a place outside for Barbecue.
