Beach and the pool area are incredible - best I ever saw. Since the location is jungle, there is not much to do besides safari but pool and beach were so amazing that we didnt even look for any other way to spend our time. Elephant on the beach is WOOOW 😍 Staff is wonderful as everywhere in Sri Lanka - always smiling and being very helpful. Rooms are spacious and designed so good with huge comfortable bed. Food also on point.

First of all the ride to the Lodge is amazing. It feels like a safari on it''s own. We booked a tent but when we got there the owner gave us a room upgrade for free so we slept in this magical very cool tree house. At night you can watch the wild and sometimes elephants come to visit. Also the stuff is so incredibly nice! It was the most special accommodation we had in our whole time travelling Sri Lanka.

We had a truly wonderful stay and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The accommodation was absolutely fabulous—comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed to meet every need. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The food was another highlight, offering a delicious variety of well-prepared dishes that delighted our taste buds. The organised safari was also great! Overall, it was a fabulous stay!

This place is amazing.

This place is amazing. We stay with our 3 young kids and the staff were so kind and attentive. All of the small details have been thought of and it’s a wonderful experience in nature. Lovely local Sri Lankan are served for each meal.

It definitely is an experience worth trying.

It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night. There were times you just felt that we were the only ones there and when you needed something the staff would magically appear

too many jeeps roaming around. 50% of the time we were searching for animals. at some occasions long long jams of jeeps trying to observe leopards and bears the park is beutiful but * jeeps number should be limited * we didnt see a leopard, saw elephants only once, saw a bear briefly only once - for 6 hours in the park we were disappointed

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives...

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.

I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

Absolutely beautiful classy heritage hotel in Yala national park. Vaulted ceilings and fabulous vistas from the balcony. Lovely pool for a post safari dip. Great breakfast provided and other food options throughout the day. The manager was incredibly kind and bent over backwards to ensure we had the best stay possible. He arranged us two safaris aswell. This place is a little slice of heaven in Yala.

Amazing resort, brand new, facilities are sensational. Best hotel room i've ever stayed in, we upgraded to a premium pool room. Pillow menu a nice touch. Great location for a safari into Yala national park, our ranger Pasindu was fantastic. Dinner in the restaurant was great, good mix of local and international menu items and catered well to dietary requirements.
