Komorebi is a truly stylish and really clean accomondation. I really liked the interior and the lights and plants everywhere. It directly feels like vacation! Moreover, Enrico and his staff are so kind and caring. Communication was super easy, we had lovely chats each morning. They were so caring and helping us with whatever we needed. If you are lucky, Enrico will show you his fantastic cooking skills. The Italian dinner was so so good! Loved the vibe and can just highly recommend to stay here :) all the best to Enrico and the team!

Beautifully furnished room with a nice bathroom that offers a great rain shower with hot water. The swimming pool is very inviting and the staff was exceptionally helpful, very accommodating, and friendly. We enjoyed the rich breakfast very much. The location is close to the beach. Amazing rooms and restaurant. Close to the beach. Professionally run by dedicated and knowledgeable staff, high standards. Lovely Breakfast and pizzas are great I had "Susanna" 🤤😋 Equipped yourself with earplugs to sleep 😴 well as hotel is located righte by the train line like most on west and south coast of Sri Lanka. Everything, from the beginning the stuff was super kind and helpful, location is absolutely stunning, the hotel is just at the beach and waves are coming so close to hotel's restaurant. Hotel has its private beach so it's almost empty, just sometimes some people cross the beach but there are not really other hotels around , especially at the beach. He had really great relax there and regretted that we needed to leave this magical place. Food was delicious and homemade coconut ice creams in real coconut stole my heart and I've never had ice cream like this again in any place! You can really relax in silence at this place also because there is no children's facilities and it's like a "wild" and silent area. This place is really like in heaven! I wish I can come back there soon!

We were there 4 nights during off season.

We were there 4 nights during off season. There is not much to do there in July. Especially with kids. Since the sea was to rough to swim in! Lots of wind and felt a bit like a ghost town to us. Every restaurant we went to we were the only ones! I think 2 nights would have been more than enough

Fortunately the place is not in the city of Wellgama which is bery busy, crowdy and noisy city. We resigned from spending more time in the city after 1h walk trying to find a nice area like caffees/restaurants or local small shops where you can buy some hand made staff etc.

Weligama is an absolute gem for travelers! Whether you're chasing waves or simply looking for a peaceful escape, this place has it all. The beach is fantastic for surfing, with great waves for both beginners and pros, while also offering calm spots perfect for relaxation. The sunrises and sunsets here are truly breathtaking, making every moment by the ocean magical. The town itself is warm and welcoming, with friendly locals, great food, and a laid-back vibe. The only minor downside is the occasional plastic waste, but with more awareness and local efforts, this paradise can be even better. We really enjoyed our stay in Blue Haze Weligama. Everyone in the staff (apparently a family) were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and exactly like in the pictures. We also liked the Sri Lankan breakfast they offered in the mornings. For us the location was perfect - little bit out of the city centre (around 3km) so it was quiet place. Definitely would recommend to rent a scooter so it’s easy to move around. Beach was just 5min away from the hotel.

What a lovely experience. I had my own private rooftop with a free Coffee looking over Weligama. The property is perfectly situated in a inland, just 3 Minutes walking distance to weligama beach on the straight road. And backside road just a 30 meter walk to the city. The family was incredibly kind and very accommodating, I’m so happy I stayed there and got to know them. It was one of my favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka.

The hotel is beautiful and the view even better. Every morning you can enjoy their delicious breakfast while looking at the sea. Food is amazing - some of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. Staff are so lovely and kind - Sandun and Rex were wonderful. You can walk down to the local beach. Tuk tuks outside to take you wherever you want to go. Highly recommend, we absolutely loved it.
